摘要： A low power display and a method for display in a display device having an Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diodes AMOLED panel are provided. A display window that includes content to be displayed on the AMOLED panel is determined. Luminance values of pixels constituting the display window are grasped. The pixels having luminance values that are to be adjusted are determined in accordance with a distribution degree of pixels having luminance values that are larger than a reference luminance value. The luminance values of the determined pixels are changed to the reference luminance value, and the display window is displayed on the AMOLED panel with the changed luminance values.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for evaluating the qualities of the user's color vision by means of the FM chromaticity test or directly measuring the defective factors of the user causing the color blindness. Thus it modifies the color composition of a video displaying apparatus according to a numerical analysis of the color and degree of color blindness specific to each dichromatic individual, so that he may perceive the same colors as the normal person. Also discloses is an apparatus for performing the method steps described herein.

摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus and method for analyzing a histogram of an image, the apparatus comprising an image input module for buffering an input image, a block calculator for performing a blocking operation for dividing the image, which has been input to the image input module, into pixel blocks of a predetermined size, and extracting and outputting a representative pixel of each block obtained by corresponding blocking, a probability density function (PDF) operator for calculating a first histogram by using all pixels of the image, which has been input to the image input module, and calculating a second histogram by using the representative pixels input from the block calculator, and an image characteristic comparator for receiving the first and second histograms output from the PDF operator, testing if the received histograms satisfy a predetermined identity criterion by comparing characteristics of the first histogram with characteristics of the second histogram, and calculating a third histogram of the input image when it has been determined that the predetermined identity criterion is satisfied.

The apparatus includes a color setting controller for displaying a closed curve band divided into at least two equal-sized sections each containing a different color, and a setting band having at least two sections for indicating change of a set value of each of the colors on a screen, and for changing the set value of a selected color and displaying the changed color according to the changed set value on the screen. The color setting controller increases or decreases the size of the section for indicating change of the set value according to the set value.

Accordingly, image inpainting is performed using a search region, which has been determined to include a similar image most similar to an image to inpaint, so that it is possible to increase the probability of searching for an image most similar to the inpainting image region.
