Abstract:
A fan for easily being attached to a fixing device and includes a fan body and a frame for holding the fan body therein. The frame includes two parallel first sidewalls, and two parallel second sidewalls perpendicular to the first sidewalls. Two pairs of rims symmetrically extend from the first sidewalls and the second sidewalls. Ends of the rims on the first sidewalls toward one same second sidewall each include a latch flange. Ends of the rims on the second sidewalls toward one same first sidewall each includes a latch flange. Each of the latch flanges includes a guiding edge slantingly extending from the corresponding rim, and a latch edge perpendicular to the corresponding rim. Each of the latch flanges includes a guiding edge slantingly extending from the corresponding rim, and a latch edge perpendicular to the corresponding rim.
Abstract:
A keyboard includes a main body, a shield, and a pivot apparatus. The main body has a plurality of keys being arranged thereon. The shield is capable of covering the main body, and includes a cover board. The cover board has two first lateral plates and a second lateral plate. The two first lateral plates are extending from opposite ends of the cover board. The second lateral plate is extending from a front side of the cover board, and connected to a front end of each of the first lateral plates. The pivot apparatus is pivotably coupled between the shield and the main body.
Abstract:
A locking mechanism is provided for securing a plug with a cable to an electronic device. The locking mechanism includes a base portion configured to abut against a side of the plug, a pressing portion slantingly extending from an end of the base portion, at least one tab protruding from the pressing portion near the base portion, and a clamping portion extending from the other end of the base portion and configured to engage with the cable.
Abstract:
A power strip includes a plug having a hot line terminal and a neutral line terminal, at least one outlet having a hot line terminal and a neutral line terminal, and a power control apparatus having a connector and an electrical switch. The neutral line terminal of the at least one outlet is electrically connected to the neutral line terminal of the plug. The connector is connected to a controlling portion of the electrical switch. The hot line terminal of the plug is connected to the hot line terminal of the at least one outlet via a switching portion of the electrical switch. If the connector is electrified, the controlling portion controls the switching portion to turn on thereby controlling the hot line terminal of the plug to be electrically connected to the hot line terminal of the at least one outlet.
Abstract:
A free-standing electronic device includes a main body and a stand. The main body includes an enclosure having two end walls, each of the end walls defines a recessed engaging portion in a lower section thereof, and an abutting surface is formed on top of each engaging portion. The stand includes two opposite supporting arms pivotably connectable to the end walls of the enclosure. The stand is capable of being rotated to allow the supporting arms to partially abut against the abutting surfaces of the end walls respectively and support the main body upright.
Abstract:
A handheld tool includes a handle to be held by a human hand, a head, which is engagable with a fastener, a shaft extending from an end of the handle terminating at the head, and an indicating member arranged on the tool. The indicating member indicates tightening or loosening of the fastener when the tool is operated to rotate the fastener. The indicating member is helpful for a user to make sure a direction of rotation required for retightening and loosening the fastener.
Abstract:
An exemplary heat dissipation device is provided for removing heat from a first electronic element and a second electronic element attached to a circuit board. The first electronic element is arranged at a side of the second electronic element. The heat dissipation device includes a heat sink attached to the CPU, a fan attached to the heat sink, and an air guide member attached to the second electronic element. The air guide member includes a guiding portion to guide air from the fan to the second electronic element.
Abstract:
A keyboard includes a main body and a plurality of keys arranged on a top plate of the main body. The main body includes the top plate, a bottom plate with a utility board arranged thereon, and a rear plate. The rear plate is flat so that the main body can be placed in an upright on a desktop thus exposing the utility board when the keyboard is not in use.
Abstract:
A central processing unit socket assembly includes a socket mounted on a circuit board, a locking apparatus, and a cover. The cover includes a main plate, a resilient first locking portion formed on a first end of a first surface of the main plate, a second locking portion formed on a second end of the first surface of the main plate opposite to the first locking portion, and a number of connecting pins protruding out from a second surface of the main plate opposite to the first surface of the main plate. The first and second locking portion of the first surface of the cover can be detachably latched to the socket. The connecting pins can be connected on the locking apparatus.
Abstract:
A fixing assembly for mounting a data storage device includes a fixing piece mounted to a sidewall of a computer enclosure, and a casing for receiving the data storage device. The casing includes a top wall, a bottom wall, two end walls, and a rear wall. The casing defines an opening in a front side of the casing opposite to the rear wall, through which the data storage device enters the casing. One of the end walls of the casing is fixed to the fixing piece. A blocking piece extends out from the other end wall. A projection protrudes from an inner surface of the blocking piece to block an outer side of the data storage device opposite to the rear wall. A dummy connector extends out from the rear wall to be inserted into a socket formed on a motherboard received in the computer enclosure.
