Abstract: A system and method for receiving downlink control signals are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device includes receiving, by a wireless communication device from a wireless communication node, a downlink control signal, determining, by the wireless communication device, to which of a plurality of resource sets the downlink control signal belongs, receiving, by the wireless communication device, a downlink data signal scheduled by the downlink control signal, and determining, by the wireless communication device based on the determined resource set, that the downlink data signal is one of: a new multicast transmission, a multicast retransmission, a new unicast transmission, and a unicast retransmission.

Abstract: This disclosure is generally directed to wireless communication systems and methods and relates particularly to resource configuration and allocation for time-division duplex. The various implementations described in detail below concern scheduling and allocation of time-frequency communication resources within a uplink subband configured within a set of resources that are otherwise configured for downlink transmission or for transmission with a flexible direction. Various embodiments are described below for dynamically scheduling downlink transmissions within the resources of the uplink subband, for modifying/extending resources for the uplink subband in order to improve uplink and downlink transmission resource balance in real-time. The disclosure below further provides various implementations for resolving uplink and downlink transmission time conflict within the uplink subband and for transmitting downlink reference signal over the UL subband.

Abstract: Methods and systems for techniques for multiplexing resources for feedback messages in wireless networks are disclosed. In an implementation, a method of wireless communication includes: configuring, by a network node, a set of channel resources to indicate a plurality of feedback states for different multicast services, wherein each channel resource corresponds to one of the feedback states, wherein each of the feedback states includes a combination of values such that each value indicates whether: a downlink message has been decoded correctly; or the downlink message has not been received or has been decoded incorrectly; and receiving, by the network node, from a wireless device, uplink messages on one of the channel resources corresponding to a feedback state of the wireless device.
