Abstract:
A mosquito coil holder in the form of a clip. The clip has a first and second contact portions each adapted to contact a mosquito coil and to hold a mosquito coil therebetween. First and second support portions support the respective first and second contact portions relative to each other. A connection portion connects the first and second support portions. The clip includes at least one base portion which acts as a base upon which the clip can stand in use, while holding a mosquito coil.
Abstract:
A fan containing apparatus has a first enclosure which can accommodate a conventional mosquito coil/mosquito candle/vaporizing device, etc. The smoke/vapors are blown by the fan through an outlet in the apparatus to provide a much better distribution of the gas/smoke/vapor into a room. A perforated hose can be attached to the outlet to provide a much better positioning of the gas/smoke/vapor in a room or outdoor area.
Abstract:
A device which uses a heat source for heating and diffusing fragrant oils or insecticidal oils. The oil is contained in a reservoir remote from the heat source and the device comprises means for transferring the oil from a reservoir to a surface of a heat-absorbing means wherein heat from the heat source is transferred by conduction to said surface to volatilise the oil.

Abstract:
The invention is directed to a landscape product that burns a fuel containing citronella to deter insects and which does not look like a conventional anti-insect device in a landscaped environment. The landscape product comprises a container defining an aperture, a stone having a through bore and located above the fuel container, a wick holder located above the aperture and extending through the through-bore to a position above at least part of the stone, and a wick extending upwardly from within the fuel container and through the wick holder to a location above the wick holder and thence to a position above at least part of the stone. The landscape product is capable of burning a liquid fuel containing citronella oil to provide a landscape product to deter undesirable insects.
Abstract:
A stand supports a burnable coil such as a mosquito coil. There is a base suitable to rest on a support surface which is positionable at least partially beneath the coil. There is also a retainer clip linked to the base that is simultaneously positionable along a top side of the coil near a central opening of the coil, through the opening, and along a bottom side of the coil adjacent the opening. Methods of using such stands and stand/coil assemblies are described.
Abstract:
This invention provides an air freshener candle product which is a slender combustible body composed of ingredients which comprise (1) candlewax, (2) thermoplastic polymer, (3) particulate polysaccharidic filler, and (4) air freshener ingredient. The air freshener is released into the atmosphere under candle burning conditions. An invention taper-shaped candle is wickless, and can be produced by a continuous molding process.
Abstract:
Mosquito coils are resistant to breakage, light, flat and ensure a good active substance yield if they consist of a wood-chip and/or fiber material of a density of only 0.4 to 0.7 kg/dm.sup.3 and preferably have a thickness of 1 to 4.5 mm, the active substance being applied to the spiral (1) as a layer (2).
Abstract:
An ignition system for a combustible insecticide forming a fumigation device. The ignition system utilizes relative motion to actuate an ignitor which, in turn, ignites the insecticide. In one aspect, the relative motion is used to load a spring which, when released, strikes the ignitor to actuate it.
