    摘要: The present invention is a solid-bowl screw centrifuge that includes a centrifugal drum. The drum has a drum casing and a screw with a screw body that is surrounded by a screw blade. The screw blade forms at least one screw spiral with a conveying path for transporting material to be centrifuged. The centrifuge also includes an inlet into the centrifugal drum, at least one solid matter discharge and at least one liquid outlet. The centrifuge includes a drum chamber that is axially closed by a drum cover having essentially a conical shape. Further included is a disk stack having at least one conical disk, and the disk stack is mounted to the drum cover directly upstream of the liquid outlet. At least a portion of the disk stack is arranged in a cylindrical section of the drum chamber that has an essentially constant diameter. A screw disk is arranged on the screw body between the drum cover and a first screw spiral.

    摘要: A method of retrofitting a centrifuge is provided. The method includes disassembling a known centrifuge and replacing a bowl section of the centrifuge outer body with a longer bowl section. The method further comprises replacing the conical beach section with a shorter beach section, i.e. a beach section having a greater slope. The screw conveyor is replaced with another screw conveyor having outlet nozzles adapted to impart rotational movement to the inlet feed. The retrofitted centrifuge provides enhanced performance through an additional length of cylindrical section, thereby making the clarification length longer, and improving the effectiveness of the centrifuge in removing solids from the inlet feed. The retrofitted centrifuge preferably remains mounted to the same pedestal as the centrifuge prior to retrofit.

    摘要: A decanter centrifuge has a hollow, rotatable drum with a screw conveyor comprising a core body (1), in which an inlet opening for material into the drum from an inlet chamber (3) is provided, the inlet opening having a delimitation surface (7) which is rear relative to the direction of rotation and extending substantially axially, said delimitation surface being provided with a wear reinforcement member (8). The wear reinforcement member extends along the rear delimitation surface (7) into the inlet chamber (3). The wear reinforcement member (8) is provided with abutment surfaces (11; 19) in abutment against abutment surfaces associated with the core body, which during operation prevents the wear reinforcement member (8) from moving tangentially forwards in the in the direction of rotation and radially out of the core body (1). At least one of said abutment surfaces associated with the core body (1) is constituted by a removable blocking member (17).     摘要: A solid or screen bowl decanting-type centrifuge comprising: a rotatable bowl; a helical scroll conveyor which rotates coaxially within the bowl at a different rotational speed, the helical scroll comprising a hub carrying a plurality of flights whose radially outer edges lie close to an inner wall of the bowl such that, in use, solids are scrolled by the conveyer to solids discharge ports at one end of the bowl, with separated liquid being discharged from liquids discharge ports at the opposite end of the bowl. The conveyor hub carries a plurality of nozzles in a wash zone for supplying wash fluid to solids being scrolled by the conveyer towards the solids discharge ports. The conveyor hub also carries a blade in the region of the nozzles and intermediate adjacent flights of the conveyor for directing fluid droplets from the nozzles over said solids.

    摘要: In a decanter centrifuge having a rotor (1) and a screw conveyor (2) the rotor is suspended only at its one end, the rotational axis (R) of the rotor extending vertically. The inlet (22) of the rotor (1) for a sludge containing liquid to be separated as well as the rotor outlet (12; 67) for liquid having been freed from sludge are situated at the upper end of the rotor, whereas a sludge outlet (13) for separated sludge is situated at the lower end of the rotor. The rotor (1) as well as the screw conveyor (2) are adapted to be driven through shafts (5, 8) situated at the upper end of the rotor. By the invention it becomes possible by simple means to adapt the decanter centrifuge for different separation duties, since the location of the sludge outlet (13) can be chosen freely without other parts of the decanter centrifuge preventing this.

The procedure is made up of a first stage of radial feeding of wastes coming from an axial section of a differential rotary field; wherein said differential rotary field is, made up of rotary means of solid dragging and of perimetral rotary means, which rotate in one and the same direction and with different angular speeds according to a spin axis which is substantially horizontal. A second stage consisting in a first radial adjustment of the separation zone of the liquid phases, wherein said first adjustment is carried out with annular means of radial adjustment, which are static with respect to said perimetral rotary means, acting as an overflow lip to allow the pass of the predominantly light liquid phase. A third stage consisting in a second radial adjustment of the level of the separation zone acting at the outlet of the liquid/liquid overflow of the second preceding stage.
