    摘要： A portable crafting tool, which may be readily transported from one location to another and placed on a tabletop or another suitable surface for use, and which includes rollers for applying pressure to a craft assembly, is disclosed. The craft assembly may include a platform with a tool, such as a cutting die, an embossing tool and/or a letterpress tool, a sheet of a medium (e.g., paper, vellum, acetate, foil, etc.) that is to be modified (as pressure is applied to the craft assembly) and a mat or a cover for positioning over the sheet of medium and the tool. The portable crafting tool may include a gap spacer, which adjusts a distance that the rollers are spaced apart from one another. The portable crafting tool may be configured for selective operation with a manually operated handle or with a motor that may be used in place of the handle. The portable crafting tool may be configured to engage a surface when it is deployed on the surface.

    摘要： An embossing tool for embossing a sheet of material has a body formed with a fissure for receiving the sheet of material, a lever pivotably mounted about a pivot point on the body and a block positionable between the lever and the body. The block has an embossing face moveable along a first axis, and further has a center riser configured to receive the lever. At least one resilient member is provided, adjacent to the embossing face along a second axis, spaced apart from the first axis, and disposed between the block and the body. When the block is positioned between the lever and the body and when the lever is pivoted about the pivot point between a first position and a second position, the lever engages the block having the axially moveable embossing face to emboss the sheet of material.

    摘要： An impacting device useful with a pneumatic drive comprises a housing formed with an outer large-diameter bore and an inner small-diameter bore defining an annular shoulder at their juncture. A driving element within the large-diameter bore is limited against movement by the annular shoulder. A plunger movable within both bores is urged by a spring into the large-diameter bore in engagement with the driving element and carries an impacting element, such as a ball, at its opposite end. A air-vent formed through the housing wall is in communication with the first bore at a location so as to be on the inner side of the driving element when the latter is in its initial position, and at the opposite side of the driving element when the latter has been driven by pressurized air pulses to limit against the annular shoulder. Thereafter the plunger continues moving, under its own inertia, to cause the impacting element at the outer end of the plunger to engage the workpiece.
