    摘要: Sewing machine includes: a needle bar driven to move up and down to perform sewing operation; a jump mechanism electrically controlled to bring the needle bar to a jump sewing state; a holder member controlled to move, in synchronism with the up-and-down movement of the needle bar, for holding a sewing workpiece from above when the holder member is in its lowered position; and a holder mechanism for, when the sewing operation is to be stopped, moving the holder member upward to a predetermined evacuating position and mechanically retaining the holder member in the evacuating position; and an interlocking mechanism for mechanically retaining the needle bar in the jump sewing state in interlocked relation to the holder member being mechanically retained in the evacuating position. Thus, even when a sudden power failure has occurred, the needle bar of each machine head set in a resting state can be reliably retained in the jump sewing state, which can avoid deformation or breakage of component parts that might result from undesired descending movement of the needle bar.

    摘要: A placket sewing machine attaches a placket patch to a fabric part of a garment in overlying relation to form a multiple layer placket assembly. The placket sewing machine includes a base defining a working surface of the sewing machine. A reciprocating needle chuck has first and second needle openings formed in a staggered forward and rearward arrangement. First and second sewing needles are positioned within respective needle openings of the chuck. The sewing needles are adapted for carrying respective ends of thread into and through the overlaid placket patch and fabric part to form first and second parallel lines of stitches in the placket assembly. The first line of stitches extends a greater distance along the length of the overlaid placket patch and fabric part than the second line of stitches. A sewing motor is operatively connected to the needle chuck for actuating the chuck during operation of the sewing machine. A fabric cutter is located downstream of and centrally disposed between the first and second sewing needles for cutting the overlaid placket patch and fabric part after sewing.

    摘要: Disclosed are an apparatus for controlling a position of an embroidery frame, which is capable of performing an accurate embroidering operation by feed backing a position error due to mutual operations of interlocking devices for driving the embroidery frame using a displacement sensor for sensing a displacement of the embroidery frame, and a method thereof. The apparatus comprises an X-axis driver, a Y-axis driver, a sensor and a controller. The X-axis driver moves the embroidery frame along an X-axis direction. The Y-axis driver moves the embroidery frame along a Y-axis direction. The sensor senses a displacement of the embroidery frame to the X-axis and Y-axis directions, and outputs electric signals corresponding to the sensed displacement. The controller generates X-axis and Y-axis drive control signals based on the electric signal from the sensor in order to control the X-axis and Y-axis drivers, respectively.

    摘要: A quilting machine is provided having at least one set of single needle stitch forming elements for forming chain stitched patterns on a thick multilayered material such as a mattress cover. The machine is preferably web fed, with a panel of the continuous web being clamped and held stationary on a frame. The elements include a needle and a looper mounted on separate heads that are independently moveable transversely on a bridge, which is moveable longitudinally on the frame. The bridge is longitudinally moved by a servo and the heads are transversely moved on the bridge by separate servos. Each head is driven by a separate servo. A controller drives the servos to chain stitch patterns and differentially moves the heads transversely to account for transverse needle deflection. The drives of the needle and looper are phased to compensate for longitudinal needle deflection. The controller stores empirically determined data and responds to control signals or sensors to determine deflection and calculate the needle deflection compensation from which it generates deflection compensation signals to drive the servos.
