The outlet device (72) includes a primary passageway (80) and a secondary passageway (82) around the primary passageway (80). The blower (84) operates to generate air currents which drives bubbles to pass through the primary passageway (80), thereby pushing the bubbles into the air. Air currents passing through the secondary passageway (82) to push the bubbles farther away from the outlet device (72).

摘要： Disclosed is a fan gun snowmaker that utilizes an external nucleation device to create atomized water mist that is broken apart and frozen by a transverse air jet to create frozen nuclei, or snow seed. Further, flat spray nozzles that are normally used for spray washing and power washing are used that create a flat fan spray at the opening of the fan gun, rather than typical cone-shaped sprayers. The fan spray better disperses the water molecules into the cold, ambient air, which then combine with the frozen nuclei to create snowflakes. The fan gun is portable and lightweight and has anchors at each end that also function as jacks.

摘要： Snow making apparatus includes a blower for establishing a high volume air flow and a nucleator disposed in the air flow for generating a spray of frozen nuclei. A plurality of water injection nozzles are disposed substantially within and encircling substantially all of the air flow and are selectively actuatable to inject the spray of water into the air stream. Freezing of this spray is initiated by the nuclei at a point remote from the apparatus so as to produce snow.

摘要： An improved snowmaking machine and method for producing artificial snow is provided, whereby a moving airstream at or below freezing temperature which is created by a motor-driven fan within a cowling is passed through an inwardly tapering conical collar attached to the downstream opening of the cowling, and water droplets are sprayed into the airstream from a plurality of nozzles distributed around an arc of preferably about 190 to 300 degrees around the opening defined by the conical collar. A mixture of water and compressed air is injected into the airstream downstream of the point the airstream exits the conical collar.

摘要： In a method and machine for making artificial snow of the type which includes a blower for providing a substantially unidirectional high-volume air stream and a plurality of nozzles for directing water spray into the air stream, the improvement wherein the water nozzles are grouped in an arcuate array entirely above the centerline of the air stream, and wherein a deflector is disposed in the air stream to direct a lower portion of the air stream upwardly toward the nozzles. A seeder nozzle is disposed in the "shadow" of the deflector and directs a water/air mixture upwardly at an angle into the air stream to form seed crystals.

The water drops are uniform and are formed by cyclically disturbing linear water streams discharged from an orifice plate of a nozzle assembly. The cyclic disturbance effects the breaking off of water drops of uniform size from the fluid streams.
