摘要: A snow-making apparatus including an ice particle generating machine that produces ice particles that can be utilized to make or use as high quality man-made snow, and a system for remotely discharging the ice particles remotely from the ice particle generating machine through the use of one or more of a fan impeller assembly and a chilled air sealed pneumatic air conveying system. In one preferred embodiment, the apparatus further includes a water droplet or particle dispenser located remotely from the ice particle generating machine and preferably adjacent to the outlet of the apparatus where ice particles are discharged from an outlet pipe, whereby the water droplets are mixed with the ice particles thereby producing snow. Using a combination of ice particles and water droplets allows production of snow efficiently and in large quantities.

摘要: Disclosed is a composite bubble-type snowflake maker, including: a main machine, an air pipe, and a sprayer. The interior of a machine body of the main machine is provided with accommodating space, so as to enable a blower to send out wind power towards an air outlet, and enable a pump to outwardly transport bubble water along a bubble water pipe. An inlet of the air pipe is connected to the air outlet, so as to enable an outlet to be far away from the main machine, and a tail end of the bubble water pipe extends outwardly along the air pipe, so as to be connected to a bubble head. One end of a sprayer body of the sprayer is connected to the outlet of the air pipe, and the other end is provided with an air outlet pipe and a plurality of air outlet holes at an outer circumference of the air outlet pipe. A tail end of the air outlet pipe is sleeved with a cloth sleeve extending outwardly, and the bubble head of the bubble water pipe is disposed in the air outlet pipe, so as to outwardly deliver the bubble water. Wind power generated by the blower is blown to the interior and exterior of the cloth sleeve through the air pipe and the sprayer body, so that the bubble water exudes from a surface of the cloth sleeve to form bubbles, and the wind power is used to blow the bubbles to fly away, so as to form artificial snowflakes.

The snow making apparatus is developed in that it comprises at least one jet pump (10, 10′, 10″) which operates with water (W) as a driving medium and mixes the air (A) with the water (W) and compresses the water/air mixture (M) in order to form the water/air mixture (M) which is supplied to the at least one water/air nozzle (12, 12′). A method of operating a snow making apparatus comprises corresponding features. The invention enables unused energy, which is converted into heat in snow making apparatuses according to the prior art, to be used in a particularly effective manner.

摘要: A method and an apparatus for making artificial snow with a snow-making machine having a funnel-shaped carrier. The carrier has, at the inlet end thereof, a fan adapted to provide rapid flow of air through the carrier, and at the outlet end thereof, both a ring of atomizing nozzles mounted close to a nose cone of the snow-making machine, and several (preferably three or more) rings of water distribution nozzles. The water nozzles are arranged to eject a curtain of water drops obliquely into the flow of air passing through the carrier. The method involves the steps of: (a) turning on the fan so that a rapid flow of air is moved through the snow-making machine, (b) pressing water under high pressure through the ring of atomizing nozzles, (c) then turning on pressurized water in a first ring of water distribution nozzles, and (d) thereafter, stepwise after each other, turning on pressurized water to the remaining rings of water distribution nozzles.

摘要: The present invention is a thermally self-regulating nozzle for a snowmaking machine. The invention also relates to a system including the nozzle and method of snowmaking using the nozzle. The nozzle includes an outer housing made of a first material and a thermally separated inner housing, and a nozzle assembly attached to the outer housing by a member made of a second material having a thermal coefficient of expansion lower than the first material. The size of the nozzle outlet being dependent upon the expansion/contraction of the outer housing to accommodate more efficient snowmaking over a range of temperatures.

摘要: The apparatus for making artificial snow by atomizing water comprises a ductlike housing mounted on a supporting frame, in which a blower is positioned and on whose downstream end a plurality of nozzles or orifices for spraying water or a water-air-mixture are provided. The ductlike housing is constructed double walled. An inner wall of the ductlike housing is provided with a plurality of holes. Sound absorbing material in the interior space located between the inner wall and an outer wall and one electric heater are also provided. Air baffles can also be provided which contain sound absorbing material and are similarly heated.
