摘要： Apparatus for processing individual rolls of self-developing type transparency film. The apparatus includes a spool having a first post, to which the leaders of a length of photographically exposed film and a length of flexible sheet material are adapted to be attached, and a second post, to which only the leader of the film is to be attached. The spool is adapted to be rotated so as to wind upon the spool a laminate comprised of the film, the sheet material, and a layer of processing liquid sandwiched therebetween for a period of time sufficient to form a visible image in the laminate. After formation of such image, the laminate is unwound from the spool and the film stripped from the sheet material as they are being rewound into their original containers. The posts are constructed such that the leader of the sheet material will automatically become detached from the first post at the end of the unwinding of the laminate thereby allowing the sheet material to be returned completely to its container while the second post maintains its attachment to the film leader. Thus, when the film leader is manually detached from the second post, it is available for withdrawing the processed film from its container for subsequent cutting and mounting of the film's individual frames.

摘要： A disposable kit of the type adapted for use in a film processing apparatus in the processing of a roll of exposed instant type transparency film, preferably of the 35 mm format. The kit includes a two sectioned housing which encloses a roll of sheet material, a container of processing liquid, and a dispenser which is adapted to apply a coating of processing liquid to one side of the sheet material as it is being withdrawn from the housing prior to it being laminated to the exposed film. One of the housing sections is constructed such that a component of the processing apparatus may move it from a closed position to an open position wherein a rupturing mechanism of the processing apparatus may enter the housing and rupture the container of processing liquid. At the end of the processing cycle, the housing section is moved back into its closed position to thereby substantially enclose any residue of the processing operation.

摘要： A disposable processing kit for use in developing a photographically exposed roll of instant type film. The kit includes first and second sections which are adapted to mate with each other so as to provide a chamber for enclosing a roll of flexible sheet material such that a free end thereof extends therebetween to the exterior of the kit. The first section includes means for supporting a package containing a supply of viscous processing liquid, a reservoir into which the processing liquid is adapted to flow upon rupturing of the package, and a nozzle for applying a layer of the liquid to one side of the sheet material as the latter is being withdrawn from the kit. The second section includes an integral resilient member which functions to press the sheet material against the nozzle during the spreading of the processing liquid on the sheet material, and to seal the nozzle after the sheet material has been rewound into the chamber thereby substantially sealing off any remainign liquid in the reservoir and the liquid coated sheet material from the exterior of the kit.

摘要： An auto-process film unit comprising a photosensitive sheet and a positive image sheet, which is bondable to the photosensitive sheet, but is initially separated therefrom by a removable light-proof, anti-adhesive strip, which forms a folded portion between the photosensitive and positive image sheets, and is attached at one end to a wind-up means. This film unit has the advantage that since the photosensitive sheet for production of a negative image and a positive image sheet onto which a corresponding image is transferred are not initially bonded together, processing solution may move freely therebetween, whereby even quality of a produced photograph is ensured.
