    摘要: An automatic power control device comprising a passive, non-linear voltage detector controlling a series bipolar transistor regenerative latch circuit, acts to connect the load to a power source only when the voltage obtainable from the power source is sufficient to prevent improper ambiguous operation of the load, and further acts to disconnect the load from the power source when its voltage declines to that range which could result in ambiguous and/or erroneous operation. An electronic thermometric digital display instrument is shown, powered solely by a miniature solar panel. The instrument is amply powered, and the display is legible, even in dim light. Operation at lower levels of light is available with an economical auxiliary battery that is cut out of the circuit at when the light is as little as 5 lux.

    摘要: A battery charging unit for a medical appliance, preferably an inhalator, includes a transformer having a high-voltage side to be connected to a mains voltage and having a low-voltage side. A rectifier is connected to the low-voltage side of the transformer. A charge current circuit is connected to the rectifier for charging a battery. A timing control is connected to the charge current circuit for switching a charge current to a value being safe for long-term charging after a predetermined period of time at an initially higher value. A test key is connected to the charge current circuit for interrupting charging of the battery and loading the battery with a given maximum current requirement for a given period of time. The voltage of the battery under load is measured and compared with a predetermined reference voltage after the test key is actuated. A control light signals if the reference voltage is exceeded.

    摘要: The quality of a particular physical or chemical parameter which exists at the cells of a multicell battery, such as for example, the voltage, current or temperature parameter at each cell, is continually monitored by a circuit arrangement which includes a separate measuring circuit for each cell. Each measuring circuit receives at its input, a signal representative of the value of the quality of a particular parameter, and produces at its output an electrical signal the length of which is proportional to the value of the signal at its input. The outputs of the measuring circuits are connected to a measuring analyzer circuit containing a controller which generates a starting signal that is applied to the measuring circuits to enable or actuate them one after the other, so that the outputs of the measuring circuits are in turn successively applied to the input of the analyzer circuit, which includes a display that provides an indication of the quality of the parameters which are being monitored.

A charge indicator lamp and a switching circuit are connected in series between the first and second output terminals, with the switching circuit being operated by the diagnostic circuit to turn on when any of the failure conditions have been detected and to the start-up detecting circuit for preventing the lamp from being turned on during the start-up condition of the generator.
