Abstract:
A protective cover (1) for motor vehicles, machines or the like for the preventive protection of the surface against abrasive or chemical emissions, moisture caused by condensation and waterlogging and penetrating moisture as well as against mechanical damage during parking, storage and transportation. The protective cover that optimally protects the entire surface, is adaptable to different and complicated surface shapes as well as to projecting and movable as well as accessible parts, can be handled easily and in a site-independent manner, can be used repeatedly, and guarantees the movement and the control of the object being protected as well as the temporary use of movable parts or of parts that are to be opened without damaging the protective cover. Different variants of partial covers (5) for surfaces needed for visibility and of partial covers (4) for doors, which said partial covers can be repeatedly opened and closed, by the stable anchoring of the protective cover at the underbody with cutting rails (16) and hooks (17), moldings (14) to be snapped in at the wheelhouses, a fastening flap (13) that can be hung in repeatedly at the edge of the hood, clamping profiles (12) in the door rabbets, clamping profiles (15) at the roof rail, etc.
Abstract:
A motor vehicle roof with a roof module (10) for attachment to the roof frame area of a motor vehicle body, with support edges (15) for the roof module (10) which inwardly adjoin the side rails (14) of the vehicle body, the roof module (10) having an outside roof skin (11) which has side edges (16) which are bent downward toward the support edges (15). On the roof skin (11), in the area of its side edges (16), there are connecting strips (18) which have bottoms for attachment to the support edges (15) of the roof frame area and which are joined to the roof skin (11), preferably by being injection molded or foamed on to it.
Abstract:
A four post ROPS is provided with left and right front vertical posts and left and right rear vertical posts. The rear vertical posts have a bottom portion that extends upwardly, forwardly and outwardly from the floor of the operator's station. Each left and right front vertical post has an arrowhead shaped cross section. The arrow shaped cross section has a main lobe, a secondary lobe and a connecting portion located between the two lobes. The arrowhead shaped cross section defines a windshield channel for receiving the side edge of the windshield, and a side door channel for receiving the side edge of the side door. The arrowhead shape has an elongated axis that is in line with the line of sight of the operator when driving the backhoe loader.
Abstract:
A collapsible top (13) fits over a child's pull wagon (10), may be taken apart easily, and flatly packaged for store display or mail order shipment. It has a light weight, flexible frame (15) universally adjustable to fit the various sizes of wagon beds (12). In principle, however, the top may be scaled up as a tent for adults, or as a canopy for outdoor recreation. The top includes a cover material (14) stretched between a pair of spaced hoop members (16). They are bowed into an arch above their lower ends which are fitted into mounting brackets (20) secured to the corners of the wagon. A spreader rod (22) forces apart the arched portions of the hoop members sufficiently at the top to develop an overhang beyond the ends of the wagon, thereby allowing the lower legs adjustment to any wagon size, and creating internal mutual stresses between the frame and the cover in a modular, unitary structure strengthened thereby enough to avoid having to use intermediate ribs or other support parts.
Abstract:
A golf cart display apparatus consisting of a rigid transparent material in which superior, graphic golf course maintenance reminders may be placed in a picture type frame. The device is to be sized to fit between or on the upstanding roof support posts on both sides of a motorized golf cart. The display will also be used by local and national merchants for the purpose of advertising their products and services to golfers in the cart and also on the course.
Abstract:
An automobile in which an external appearance of a body of the automobile is formed to assume substantially identically shaped front and rear portions, and in which visors are provided at a front head portion and a rear head portion of a roof of the body. There is obtained an automobile of high utility value capable of decreasing manufacturing costs through rationalization of manufacturing operations, and of securing safety during driving and comfort within the automobile.
Abstract:
A pull handle mechanism for vehicle caps and the like of the type having an access door with at least one cable actuated closure latch, includes a base, with an exterior portion received through a mounting hole in the access door and an interior portion configured with an axially extending slide cavity. A retainer engages the exterior portion of the base to mount the pull handle mechanism in the access door. A handle having a scoop-shaped exterior portion with a downwardly opening finger recess, includes a rearwardly extending shaft slidingly received in the slide cavity to permit longitudinal reciprocation therebetween. A biasing member is positioned between the base and the handle, and urges the same together. A cable mount connects the actuator cable with the handle, such that pulling the handle outwardly tenses the actuator cable and releases the closure latch to permit the access door to be pivoted to an open position.
