摘要： This invention embodies a side reflector assembly adapted to be mounted on the spokes of a bicycle wheel or the like, such assembly including two slim elongated bodies bonded together. Each body has a front reflective surface comprised of at least a first planar surface and a second roof-like surface having two inclined planar sections symmetrical to the longitudinal axis of the assembly. Bolt and nut means are provided for clamping the assembly onto the wheel spokes.

摘要： A safety reflector device for a bicycle includes a shaft member secured to a bicycle in an upright position adjacent the side of a wheel. A reflective member is mounted for free rotation on the shaft adjacent the side of the wheel. The device includes a wheel engaging member, preferably the reflective member itself, which engages the wheel. Rotation of the bicycle wheel thus is caused to induce rotation of the reflector. In one embodiment, the wheel engaging member engages the tire and in another embodiment, it engages the wheel spokes. Various reflective members may be used and may include highly visible flickering or moving effects.

摘要： An improved retro-reflective flashing system for a vehicle, especially one having two wheels, such as a bicycle, or the like. The system uses a minimum of four retro-reflective, flattened surfaces, two of which are angularly attached to a side of a wheel member of such a vehicle, there being one reflector per vehicle side. The other two reflectors are attached to, respectively, a front and a rear wheel member each for end viewability, one such reflective surface thus being viewable from each end of such a vehicle. As the so-equipped vehicle moves, the reflective surfaces coact to provide retro-reflected light patterns which flash to the eye of a viewer situated anywhere within 360* around the vehicle horizontally.

摘要： Side reflectors mountable between adjacent spokes of a bicycle wheel, each reflector having an obverse side with a reflector element and a reverse side with frictional locking tabs formed at opposite ends. Closely dimensioned locking spaces are between the tabs and the reverse side of the plate so that adjacent bicycle spokes may be captured within the spaces. The adjacent spokes urge portions of the locking tabs away from the reverse side of the plate, and thereby assume frictional locking engagement with the reflector.

摘要： Side reflector assemblies for bicycles having reflective surfaces on both sides of the reflector assembly and mounted on the bicycle to reflect light from both sides of the bicycle without interference from the rider. The internal faceted reflective faces of the reflectors are sealed by the mounting means therefor, and the reflectors are clamped to a bar of the bicycle adjacent the front of the bicycle and to the angular bar forming a mounting for the seat post along the upper portion thereof. This so positions the reflector that the two reflectors can be viewed from both sides of the bicycle with a minimum amount of interference from the legs and garments of the rider.
