摘要: Wind-assisted power elements comprising paired rotors of which each rotor is independently rotated at a peripheral speed of about 2 to 4 times that of the wind, and the rotors are mounted in tandem pairs in a frame positioned by rotation of the frame on a pivot to the apparent direction of the wind and adjustable for a variable angle of attack, so that the wind will flow in a series over both rotating, generally cylindrical rotor surfaces. The effect is to derive a maximum of forward thrust in the direction of the movement of the ship for propulsion, or when the rotors are driven independently in different directions, a steering or other effect is achieved.

摘要: A life boat adapted to be thrown out into a body of water from a mother boat for automatically forming a lifesaving air boat as a result of being thrown onto the water. The lifeboat structure includes a source of compressed air in the form of an air bomb which is released when a retaining pin for a control valve supplied for the air bomb is pulled out. The release of the compressed air inflates air tubes constructed and defined to form a floating body or lifeboat. The lifeboat may include air tubes to form an enclosure on the floating body for eliminating the danger of an individual being washed away by rough waters. The resulting floating body or lifeboat is further defined to be propelled through the water by a manually operated mechanism or wind powered mechanism. The floating structure will readily restore to a normal position even when capsized.

摘要: A marine vessel can be propelled by using wind or solar energy. This propulsion results in the forward movement and six degrees of motion (roll, heave, pitch, yaw, surge, and sway) of the marine vessel. This invention capitalizes on the fact that solar, wind and wave energy are cyclical by nature. The present invention enables the vessel to manage stored and harvested energy from these energy sources and use the stored energy during periods when the external natural sources of energy are not available in adequate quantities to maintain a reasonable speed of advance for the marine vessel. The vessel's natural energy management system (NEMS) manages it in such a way that harvesting of the energy during high energy cycles, storing it and using it when needed during low external energy cycles, allows a marine vessel to maintain faster average speed without reliance on any fossil or chemical fuel and by only using renewable energy sources.

摘要: A flyable sailboat includes: a floating member, having a front support, a rear support and one or more air pumps, wherein the top end of the front support is installed with at least one rotating device; one or more rear flaps, installed at the tail end of the floating member and respectively including a horizontal flap and a rotating vertical rudder; two or more lateral flaps, respectively extended from two lateral sides of the floating member; at least one wind resisting device, installed on the rotating device and including at least one sail, at least one boom rod and at least one horizontal rod, wherein the center of the sail is installed with the boom rod having a tail rod and fastened on the rotating device; and one or more power devices, installed at the tail end or at two lateral sides of the floating member.
