    摘要: A flying car that does not require complex transformation between a car and an aircraft, the flying car can quickly take off from a land, such as road or parking, and can land on the road or parking. The flying car is of triangular shape having a broad front and narrow rear. Three motorized members are coupled to three corners of a frame of the flying car. Each of the three motorized members includes a wheel assembly that includes a wheel and a wheel frame, an inner ring and an outer ring coupled to each other, and both mounted to the wheel frame. A fan mounted on the inner ring and one or more turbines mounted on the outer ring.

The processing system may then identify a leader traffic management application from among a plurality of traffic management applications of a plurality of dual-mode vehicles within or near the traffic zone, obtain at least one navigation instruction from the leader traffic management application, and perform at least one of: executing a navigation action in accordance with the at least one navigation instruction, or displaying at least a portion of a permitted route that is in conformance with the at least one navigation instruction.

    摘要: A reinforced, foldable component for an aircraft is provided, configured to stabilize a high frequency aeroelastic fluttering movement. The reinforced component may include a frame structure defining at least one air chamber, and a plurality of sealed compartments. A shear thickening fluid is disposed in at least one of the sealed compartments, exhibiting a decreasing viscosity responsive to an impact force. The frame structure may define one of an inflatable wing structure, a fairing structure, an aileron structure, and a stabilizer structure, and the like. The foldable component may include an exterior layer with an exterior surface exposed to an external environment and an interior layer adjacent the at least one air chamber, wherein the plurality of sealed compartments are disposed between the exterior layer and the interior layer. The exterior layer or the interior layer may include an impact-resistant fabric layer including a shear thickening material.

    摘要: An air and road vehicle system includes a road vehicle having a chassis, a plurality of wheels, an engine, and a cabin area. A flight vehicle having a main body, wings, flight control surfaces, and a plurality of propulsion devices is removably coupled to the road vehicle by a plurality of docking mechanisms. In the connected orientation, the top end of the road vehicle is connected to the bottom surface of the wings, and the back end of the road vehicle is connected to the main body via an elongated catch tongue. Controllers on the flight vehicle and road vehicle are communicatively linked wirelessly or via hardwire receptacles. In the disconnected orientation, the road vehicle is functional as a road motor vehicle, and in the connected orientation, the flight vehicle and the road vehicle are functional for flight in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

    摘要: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles also known as UAVs or Drones, either autonomous or remotely piloted, are classified as drones by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as weighing under 212 pounds. The system described herein details Autonomous Flight Vehicles (AFV) which weigh over 212 pounds but less than 1,320 pounds which may require either a new classification or a classification such as Sport Light Aircraft, but without the requirement of a pilot due to the safe autonomous flight system such as the Safe Temporal Vector Integration Engine or STeVIE. Safe Autonomous Light Aircraft (SALA) are useful as drone carriers, large scale air package or cargo transport, and even human transport depending on the total lift capability of the platform.
