    摘要: A modular hybrid propulsion unit is disclosed that is mountable to a watercraft. According to an example, the modular hybrid propulsion unit includes a housing configured to fit within a complementary housing receiver on a topside of the watercraft, and a rotational output coupling configured to rotationally engage with a rotational input coupling for a propeller of the watercraft. The propulsion unit further includes an electric motor within the housing, the electric motor having a motor shaft connected to the rotational output coupling for providing an electrically powered rotational input to the rotational output coupling. The propulsion unit further includes a crank having one or more crank arms. The crank is connected to the rotational output coupling for providing a human powered rotational input to the rotational output coupling independent of the electrically powered rotational input by the electric motor.

    摘要: A ship propulsion system provides a first power transmission device that transmits power from an internal combustion engine to a propeller, a second power transmission device that transmits power from an electric motor to a propeller and that is mounted to the hull so as to be able to turn up and down independently from the first power transmission device, an actuator for causing the second power transmission device to turn up and down, and a control device. The control device is configured so as to be able to select a first drive mode in which the internal combustion engine is driven and the electric motor is not driven, and a second drive mode in which the internal combustion engine is not driven and the electric motor is driven. When the first drive mode is selected, the actuator is operated so that the second power transmission device turns up.

The drive unit includes a drive housing mounted on the transom, a propelling unit rotatable about a vertical axis and mounted to a lower surface of the drive housing, and a transmission with at least a vertical drive shaft located in the drive housing and extending into the propelling unit. The vertical drive shaft is arranged transmit drive torque from at least one of multiple sources of drive torque. The vertical drive shaft is operably connected to a first source of drive torque arranged within the drive housing, and the vertical drive shaft is operably connected to a horizontal output shaft extending into the drive housing through the transom. The horizontal output shaft is connectable to a second source of drive torque.

    摘要: A method is provided for enhancing fuel efficiency in an integrated hybrid power system for a marine vessel, the integrated hybrid power system including multiple energy storage units and at least one engine-driven power generator coupled with a power distribution grid. The method includes: determining whether a consumer load on the power distribution grid is greater than a rated maximum efficiency loading of the power generator; starting the power generator when the consumer load is greater than the maximum efficiency loading and/or a charge level of the energy storage units is below a lower threshold value; maintaining a constant load on the power generator equal to the maximum efficiency loading despite fluctuations in consumer load; and shutting down the power generator when the consumer load is less than or equal to the maximum efficiency loading and the charge level of the energy storage units is greater than or equal to the lower threshold value.

    摘要: [Problem to be solved] An object of the present invention is to provide a zero emission power generation sailing ship, wherein generated electric power is consumed for electric demand in the ship or consumed for electric demand in the ship and for driving the ship in response to wind condition, thereby realizing zero emission navigation.[Means for solving the problem] A zero emission power generation sailing ship comprises a sail provided on a deck, a water turbine-propeller, a power generator-motor which is driven by the water turbine-propeller operating as a water turbine and drives the water turbine-propeller operating as a propeller, and an energy storage device for directly storing electric energy generated by the power generator-motor or converting the electric energy into energy of a substance and storing the substance, wherein the water turbine-propeller operates as a water turbine and the power generator-motor operates as a power generator so as to generate electric power and a part of the generated electric power is consumed for electric demand in the ship and residual part of the generated electric power is stored in the energy storage device when the wind is strong, while the power generator-motor operates as a motor and the water turbine-propeller operates as a propeller and a part of the electric power drawn from the energy storage device is consumed for electric demand in the ship and residual part of the electric power is consumed for driving the power generator-motor operating as a motor when the wind is light, and further comprises a course selecting device provided with a computer program for selecting course based on ocean wind forecasting data so as to prevent exhaustion of the electric power stored in the energy storage device.
