    摘要: The continuous firing furnace includes: a single or a plurality of heating units (120), each of which includes a casing (120b) provided with a through-hole (120a) in a transport direction of a material to be heated, a heating section (160) that heats the material to be heated, and a movable section (150) that is provided at a lower portion of the casing and that supports and allows the casing to move in a horizontal direction, wherein through-holes are formed so as to be able to communicate with each other in the transport direction; a single or a plurality of cooling units (122) configured to cool the material to be heated, each of which includes a casing (122b) provided with a through-hole (122a) in the transport direction of the material to be heated, and a cooling section (170) that cools the material to be heated, wherein through-holes are formed so as to be able to communicate with the through-holes of the plurality of heating units; and a pressing section (124) configured to press the single or the plurality of heating units and the single or the plurality of cooling units in the transport direction. The heating units, and the heating unit and the cooling unit are connected to each other by pressing of the pressing section.

    摘要: An apparatus for preheating particulate material in which the particulate material is transferred from one or more upper storage bins to a circular lower chamber that has an outer, essentially annular, portion which serves as a gas flow passage. The particulate material is directed from the feed bin or bins into a plurality of essentially vertical cylindrical feed cassettes via intermediate feed ducts. The lower chamber has a flat roof which is in contact with the bottom portion of the vertical feed cassettes. The vertical feed cassettes are approximately evenly spaced on top of the outer perimeter of the flat roof. The particulate material is preheated in the annular flow passage by hot kiln gases flowing in countercurrent heat exchange relationship with the particulate material. Each feed cassette is completely segregated from its adjacent cassettes, and the bottom of each cassette is positioned over a hole in the flat roof of the lower chamber to thereby enable the particulate material to fall from each cassette into the annular flow passage section of the lower chamber. A plurality of particulate discharge mechanisms, the number of which correspond to the number of cassettes, discharges particulate material that has fallen into the annular flow chamber from the overhanging cassettes into a material outlet located in the floor located at the center of the lower chamber.

    摘要: A drop-out conveyor for a pusher-type slab reheat furnace having a sloped dropout is disclosed. The drop-out conveyor comprises a plurality of reciprocating slab carts movable between a first loading position within the furnace and a second discharge position outside of the furnace. A track is provided for supporting each of the carts along the sloped dropout of the furnace between the loading position and the discharge position. A mechanism is provided for reciprocating each cart between the first position and the second position. The present invention additionally includes a device for removing the slabs from the slab cart to a roller table at the discharge position.

    摘要: An ingot pusher furnace includes means for reducing heat loss from the charging and discharging ends of the furnace so as to produce a more efficient and uniform heating of the ingots. The pusher furnace includes support rails which extend between a first opening in the front wall and a second opening in the rear wall and terminates inside of the charging and discharging doors. The charging and discharging doors extend below the support rails in their closed position so as to provide a positive seal.
