The combination further includes a disc player having: a playback unit; a disk magazine including a plurality of disc compartments disposed to form a stack, each of the compartments being adapted to receive a corresponding one of the disc assemblies therein; a transport device travelling toward and away from the stack for transferring a pre-selected disc assembly between a corresponding receiving compartment and the playback unit; and a plurality of cassette holders, each holding a corresponding one of the disc assemblies therein and further being adapted to be gripped by the transport device for being transferred between a receiving compartment and the playback unit. Each of the cassette holders further have: a frame; a catch fixed to the frame for moving the sliding element of the cassette into an open position when the corresponding one of the disc assemblies is inserted into the cassette holder; and an elastic projection distinct from the catch fixed to the frame for moving the sliding element into a closed position when the corresponding one of the disc assemblies is removed from the cassette holder.

摘要： An automatic disk changer has a housing which accommodates a disk arranging stand on which a number of disks are arranged at predetermined intervals, and a carriage which is movable forwardly and backwardly along the disk arranging stand. The carriage has a loading mechanism which is adapted to take a desired disk out of the group of disks arranged on the disk arranging stand and place it on the carriage, and a disk mounting mechanism which is adapted to mount on a player body the disk thus placed on the carriage. In the automatic disk changer thus organized, a cam is provided on the carriage in such a manner that it is rotatable to drive the loading and disk mounting mechanisms. In addition, a locking pin is provided which is driven by the cam to detachably engaged with the disk arranging stand to lock the carriage at a predetermined position.

摘要： A disk changer employs two disk guides that support a disk by its edge. A first guide has a revolving belt that frictionally engages the disk edge to roll it on a second guide. The edge fits into a channel of the second guide. The channel's access is defined by two opposing guiding surfaces. The channel's blind end has a resilient surface. Disks are inserted between the guides through an aperture guarded by a flap that opens outwardly and closes to prevent improper insertion of disks. The flap, urged by a spring, closes on the disk, riding along the back surface. A controller detects when the flap falls off the trailing portion to register position for position encoding. The shape of the resilient surface of the second disk guide corresponds to the position of the disk along a line of transport. Three transport zones are defined. In the first zone, closest to the insertion aperture, the surface is sloped to press the disk against the guiding surface opposite the flap to resist the moment generated by the pressure of the flap on the back of the disk. In the second zone, following the point at which the flap has fallen off the trailing edge, the surface is sloped to press the disk against the opposite guiding surface. In the third zone, the surface is vertical to allow the disk to pitch to an extent allowed by the spacing of the guiding surfaces, to align itself with a storage slot.

摘要： A compact disk (CD) changer includes a magazine for storing carriages each capable of carrying a CD. The carriages with the corresponding CDs are selectively removed from the magazine when a selection key is pressed. A drive transports carriages and their associated CDs between an eject position where the CD is accessible for changing and a storage position in the magazine. A carriage and CD in the tray when it is in the eject position can be replaced by a selected carriage and CD by pressing a single selection key. The carriage and CD in the tray are transported to the magazine and the selected carriage and CD removed from the magazine. The tray is then automatically transported back to the eject position.

摘要： A disk player has a magazine for storing disks and a disk transport mechanism transporting a selected disk between a playback position outside the magazine and a store position located entirely within the magazine. The carriages are stacked upon each other and pivotally supported within the magazine. The carriages are extracted from the stack by lifting a front end of a carriage above a selected carriage. A transport mechanism moves carriages between the magazine, the playback position and an eject position. A disk sensor senses the presence of a disk in the transport mechanism before the carriage is reinstalled in the magazine and a memory updated to indicate that the selected carriage is occupied by a disk. If an extra disk is inadvertently placed on the selected carriage, after the transport mechanism reinstalls the selected carriage, the sensor indicates that a disk remains on the transport mechanism. The transport mechanism then brings the extra disk to the eject position before moving the magazine to prevent the extra disk from being damaged by the movement of the magazine.

Each of the boxes has an opening on a side wall so as to oppose to an opening formed on a side wall of the adjacent box. A horizontal guide rail device is provided in each box, extending to the opening thereof. A horizontal carrier is provided to be moved along the guide rail devices of the stocker and second player boxes passing through the openings. A plurality of coils are mounted on each of the guide rail devices, arranged in a moving direction of the horizontal carrier. The horizontal carrier has a magnet to form a magnetic field passing through some of the coils. The coils are sequentially excited so as to move the carrier in the moving direction.
