    摘要: An antenna connector communicates with antenna input/output circuitry of a transmitter/receiver such as a portable telephone. A length of conductive cable is provided with a connector for physical connection to the transmitter/receiver. The same connector is adapted for spaced, electronic connection with the input/output circuitry using at least one of induction and capacitance without a connecting conductor. The other end of the cable is adapted for conductive connection with an antenna. Thus, a non-invasive, removable connection is provided between an antenna and a portable telephone or the like to upgrade the performance of the telephone when needed, for example in an automobile.

    摘要: A coaxial connector (100) having a coupling nut (12) freely rotatable therearound has a rear stop defined by the forward end (152) of a retention sleeve (150) placed along the central section (128) of the outer conductive shell (120). The retention sleeve rearward end (160) defines a forward stop for a crimping ferrule (196) placed over the reduced diameter rearward shell section (134) and trapping an end of a shielding braid (184) therebetween to be crimped. The retention sleeve includes a rearward section (156) having an inner diameter incrementally less than the outer diameter of the central section (128) of the outer conductive shell so that the retention sleeve (150) is force fittable thereonto and self-retains thereon. A method of assembly includes pushing the retention sleeve forwardly onto the central shell section until the annular tool work end (172) abuts the rearwardly facing surface (144) defined between the central shell section (128) and the reduced diameter rearward shell section (134), thereby precisely positioning the retention sleeve along the outer conductive shell (120).

    摘要: A BALUN trans and feeder line connecting device for the antenna matching adapter, which is connected to an F-connector for VHF mounted on the antenna terminal strip of a television set is disclosed. According to the invention, each outgoing line of the BALUN trans is connected to each corresponding connecting terminal of the shield side spring and hot side pin provided in the adapter body and to the connecting terminal of feeder line connecting piece, and the annealed copper stranded wire of the antenna feeder line is connected to the other end of the feeder line connecting piece, wherein a cut-off connecting groove in which the end of feeder line is fitted, is formed at the front end of each connecting terminal, and a pointed connecting portion consisting of both connecting blades and the intermediate groove is formed on the other side of the said feeder line connecting piece; a cover coupled with the adapter body is divided into two cover plates: one for the plug terminal connecting portion and the other for the feeder line connecting portion, which are to be opened and shut separately, and a pressing portion and a pressing piece are formed in a predetermined position inside of each cover plate. Coupling and connecting between each outgoing line and connecting terminal and between each feeder line and connecting piece is realized only closing the cover.
