    摘要： A housing for receiving printed circuit boards whose components form at least parts of a communication system, comprising a housing cover and a connection area which is accessible from the outside. A main printed circuit board is arranged between the base housing part and a cover part. Plug-in devices for at least one extension printed circuit board are provided in an extension area of the main printed circuit board. A first hood is provided in order to cover the extension area. The hood has push-through openings arranged towards the connection area, corresponding to plug-in devices on at least one extension printed circuit board in an assembled state. The first hood can engage with the cover part by means of a lock connection whereby said lock connection can only be released using a tool.

    摘要： A system and method for locating a specific component of a facility by using differential signaling. The system works in a facility such as a central office having many components, such as line cards. The central office includes several wireless transmitters for transmitting signals inside the office. Attached to each line card is a positioning device, which has a receiver for receiving the transmitted signals, a controller for converting the transmitted signals into location information, and a sender for transmitting the location information. The central office also includes a computer with a device for receiving the transmitted location information. As a result, the computer can provide to a user the location of the component inside the facility.

The service unit has an enclosure that includes a removable front cover. The enclosure also has a back panel, top and bottom panels, and first and second sides. A plug-in coaxial common electronics module is received in the enclosure's first side. The common electronics module has a structural frame with a cover plate which closes off the first side of the enclosure when the module is plugged in. The unit also has at least one channel card received in the second side of the enclosure. An access panel door removably covers and closes off the second side of the enclosure. The enclosure includes a plurality of radiating fins on its exterior surface for dissipating heat generated in part by the module and the channel unit.
