    摘要： Disclosed is a private branch exchange (PBX) that offers high efficiency in wiring cables, at the same time, protects cables in highly safety manner. The PBX includes a PBX section and a casing that covers and holds the PBX section. The casing contains an inner-bottom plate, a support column, and a pedestal. Cables for connections with external circuitry can be connected to the PBX section on the front side of the interior of the casing. The inner-bottom plate holds the bottom of the portion of the casing on which the PBX section is accommodated. The support column is disposed on the lower surface of the inner-bottom plate. Disposed beneath the support column, the pedestal holds the entire of the casing. The support column has a curved surface on the front side, protecting cables wired between the inner-bottom plate and the pedestal.

    摘要： A splitter card including a circuit board on which line, data and voice connectors are mounted. The connectors include contacts electrically connected to termination posts that extend through the circuit board such that ends of the termination posts are exposed. A plurality of splitters are connected to the circuit board for splitting composite signals into voice and data signals. The circuit board includes conductive paths for directing composite signals from the line connector to the splitters, for directing voice signals from the splitters to the voice connectors, and for directing data signals from the splitters to the data connectors. Dielectric insulator members are connected to the circuit board to cover the exposed ends of the termination posts.

    摘要： An electronics enclosure is provided. The enclosure includes a cylindrical body, one or more modular card cages adapted to receive one or more electronic circuit cards. The one or more modular card cages including an outer frame member in direct physical and thermal contact with an inner wall of the cylindrical body, an inner frame member, one or more support members coupled between the outer frame member and the inner frame member, and a plurality of electronic device retainers adapted to couple to the modular card cage and hold each of the one or more electronic circuit cards in direct physical and thermal contact with one of the one or more support members. The support members provide an isolated heat dissipation path for heat, produced by each of the one or more electronic circuit cards, to be removed from the enclosure.

    摘要： An optical fiber storage system is provided for use in an equipment rack containing at least one removable optical interface card. The storage system includes a holder for holding a length of optical fiber for connection to the optical interface card. The holder is mounted for movement between a closed position in which access to the optical fiber is prevented, and an open position allowing access to the optical fiber. An actuating device, which may comprise a portion of the optical interface card itself, is provided for causing the holder to move from the closed position to the open position upon withdrawal of the optical interface card.

To be able to connect private branch exchanges of different sizes, it must be possible to add further plug-in units. A housing which can be readily extended and is accessible from all sides contains a chassis module (16, 18, 19) which is attached to a base plate (3). Fasteners (28) can be lengthened with auxiliary fasteners (28) so that additional chassis modules (31) can be added. In the closed condition, all sidewalls (9, 10) of the housing are locked by a lockable cover plate (12).
