摘要： An saddletree with controlled flexing is disclosed using multiple pairs of wave depressions. One group of wave depressions extends from the edge of the tree toward the central channel. Other waves are on the pommel and within the central channel. The pommel wave positioned along the centerline of the tree contains an ellipse and a pair of slots on either side to control flex. The interior of the central channel is scalloped along a portion of the periphery and a recess is cut into the edge of the pommel. An engineered rail and secondary rail are formed into the underside. The underside of the saddletree is covered with bidirectional carbon weave that extends from the underside to the top surface to overlap on a portion of the top surface.

A first side of the underbody panel is connected to the main body panel via the set of fasteners. In one embodiment, a second side of the underbody panel is also connected to the main body panel via the set of fasteners. In another embodiment, the second side of the underbody panel is connected to the main body panel via a stitched seam.

摘要： A stirrup for saddles. The stirrup includes a pair of side members that extend upwardly from opposing sides of a tread. The tread is provided with a forwardly and downwardly slanted orientation. The orientation of the tread places a rider's foot in a heels-up position in which the rider's heel is above the toes. The heels-up position may be beneficial to professional and experienced riders participating in rodeo events like team roping, barrel racing, or other events in which the rider benefits from being in a forward position over or in front of the saddle. A cross-member extends between upper ends of the side members in a non-parallel orientation relative to the tread. The orientation of the cross-member causes the bottom end of the stirrup to list toward the animal to provide a rider with a more natural position when standing in the stirrups.
