摘要: Systems, methods, and devices for operating in either frequency division duplexing (FDD) or time division duplexing (TDD) for wireless communications using the same electrical balance duplexer (EBD) circuitry in a transceiver device are provided. A series of switches may selectively couple components of the EBD, such as a low noise amplifier (LNA), a power amplifier (PA), and balancing impedance, to ground based on selected operation mode (e.g., FDD or TDD) while reducing insertion loss of the receiver (RX) and transmitter (TX) signals. Tuned matching network blocks for the LNA and PA may be used in addition to the series of switches to provide impedance matching for additional reduction of insertion loss.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a front-end module for a telecommunication device with an EBD circuit comprising a hybrid transformer for coupling via a transmit port to the telecommunication device transmitting a first frequency transmit signal, to an antenna, via a receive port to the telecommunication device receiving a second frequency receive signal, and to a tunable impedance circuit. In a first configuration the EBD circuit is configured to isolate the transmit port from the receive port at the first frequency, and the FEM comprises a first filter at the transmit port for attenuating the transmit signal with a predetermined amount at the second frequency. In a second configuration the EBD circuit is configured to isolate the transmit port from the receive port at the second frequency, and the FEM comprises a second filter at the receive port for attenuating the receive signal a predetermined amount at the first frequency.

摘要: A filter device includes a filter (22A) connected to a common terminal (110) and having a first characteristic, a variable filter (22B) connected to the common terminal (110) and capable of changing a characteristic to one of a second characteristic and a third characteristic, and a switch (23). In the second characteristic, a second pass band including an overlapping band in which the second pass band and an attenuation band of the filter (22A) partially overlap in frequency is defined. Insertion loss within the overlapping band for the third characteristic is greater than insertion loss within the overlapping band for the second characteristic. When the filter (22A) is selected by the switch (23), the characteristic of the variable filter (22B) is set to the third characteristic.
