Abstract: A cap for closing a container including a cap body for contacting an open end of the container and at least one connector mounted to an exterior of the cap body for coupling the cap body to the container. The at least one connector includes an engaging piece and a lever. An initial movement of the at least one connector causes the engaging piece to contact the container and a further movement of the at least one connector causes the engaging piece to affix the cap body to the container.

Abstract: A steam generator to convert liquid into vapor having an inlet to receive liquid, a heating element, and an outlet to discharge vapor. The steam generator may further have a plurality of pathways to facilitate the flow of liquid or vapor through the steam generator. In one embodiment, one or more filter elements disposed in a chamber of the steam generator may help with preventing the buildup of precipitated particulates in the steam generator. In an embodiment, an exit conduit may be configured to further help with preventing particle buildup in the steam generator. In some embodiments, a body may have an inner and outer body and multiple chambers through which liquid or vapor passes as liquid or vapor travels through the steam generator.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a cooking system for cooking food, the system including a housing defining a hollow chamber configured to receive a food container. The housing has an upper portion defining an opening to the hollow chamber. A food container having a hollow container interior is positionable within the hollow chamber. An end of the food container extends above the upper portion of the housing when the container is installed within the hollow chamber. A lid is moveably attached to the housing and is moveable between a first position that covers the upper portion of the housing and the opening to the hollow chamber when the food container is installed within the hollow chamber and a second position where the lid does not cover the opening to the hollow chamber. At least one heating element is associated with at least one of said lid and said housing.
