Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and a method for generating a summary based on trip information. The program and method include operations for: determining that one or more criteria associated with a user correspond to a trip taken by the user during a given time interval; retrieving a plurality of visual media items generated by a client device of the user during the given time interval; determining location information for the plurality of visual media items; automatically generating a trip graphic to represent the trip based on the plurality of visual media items generated by the user during the given time interval and the determined location information; and causing the trip graphic to be displayed on the client device.

Abstract: Systems and methods herein describe novel motion representations for animating articulated objects consisting of distinct parts. The described systems and method access source image data, identify driving image data to modify image feature data in the source image sequence data, generate, using an image transformation neural network, modified source image data comprising a plurality of modified source images depicting modified versions of the image feature data, the image transformation neural network being trained to identify, for each image in the source image data, a driving image from the driving image data, the identified driving image being implemented by the image transformation neural network to modify a corresponding source image in the source image data using motion estimation differences between the identified driving image and the corresponding source image, and stores the modified source image data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for searching and ranking videos are provided. An example method includes receiving an input from a user via a multimedia messaging application (MMA), selecting, from a database configured to store videos, a subset of videos based on the input and a predetermined rule, rendering, via the MMA, the subset of videos, determining that the user has viewed a video from the subset of videos, determining whether the user has shared, via the MMA, the viewed video, updating a log based on information concerning the subset of videos and the viewed video, and updating, based on the log, a model of the predetermined rule for selecting the videos. The model is trained based on pairs of first videos and second videos, where the first videos have been viewed and shared by the user and the second videos have been viewed but not shared by the user.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for mixing participant audio from multiple rooms within a virtual conferencing system. The program and method provide, in association with designing a first room for virtual conferencing, display of a user interface for mixing participant audio from one or more second rooms into an audio channel for the first room; receive indication of user input via the user interface, the user input corresponding to settings for mixing the participant audio from the one or more second rooms; and provide, based on the settings and in association with virtual conferencing within the first room, for mixing the participant audio from one or more second rooms with respect to the audio channel for the first room.

Abstract: The technical problem of enhancing the quality of an image captured in low light conditions by a front facing camera is addressed by providing an adaptive front flash system. An adaptive front flash system automatically adjusts configuration parameters of an overlaid view that operates in lieu of a front flash, termed a front flash view. The configuration parameters are adjusted based on characteristics of the output of the digital image sensor of the front facing camera. Examples of configuration parameters of the front flash view include one or more of brightness of the display, color temperature of the front flash view, and transparency of the front flash view.
