    Abstract: A method for identifying, locating and tracking a calibrating conduit within a 3D ultrasound point cloud includes the following steps: firstly rapidly modeling the conduit through an ultrasound map, then framing an approximate range of the conduit after human-computer interaction in a display interface, and tracking the approximate range accurately. The method has advantages of modeling and locating the conduit based on pure ultrasound, faster and more accurate modeling, more accurate positioning of the conduit by framing, reducing inaccurate positioning caused by other factors, and human-machine interaction for positioning the conduit with ready access to ensure accuracy and reliability. Further, this conduit localization algorithm reduces overall process time and provides a clearer and more real-time image of the conduit in a target environment, eliminating need for an overly demanding target environment and fixed reference points introduced by the conduit, while being more accurate than relying solely on ultrasound modeling.

    Abstract: A method for training a real-time, modeling for animating an avatar for a subject is provided. The method includes collecting multiple images of a subject. The method also includes selecting a plurality of vertex positions in a guide mesh, indicative of a volumetric primitive enveloping the subject, determining a geometric attribute for the volumetric primitive including a position, a rotation, and a scale factor of the volumetric primitive, determining a payload attribute for each of the volumetric primitive, the payload attribute including a color value and an opacity value for each voxel in a voxel grid defining the volumetric primitive, determining a loss factor for each point in the volumetric primitive based on the geometric attribute, the payload attribute and a ground truth value, and updating a three-dimensional model for the subject. A system and a non-transitory, computer-readable medium storing instructions to perform the above method are also provided.

    Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide techniques for dynamic synthetic video chat agent replacement. A human host receives a request for a video chat initiated by a user. An image for a synthetic host including a representation of an individual is retrieved. The image of the synthetic host is selected based on information about the user. Aspects of the individual included in the image are extracted using one or more processors. A video performance by the human host responding to the statement or query by the user is captured. A synthetic host performance is created in which the video performance of the human host is dynamically replaced by the individual that was extracted so that the synthetic host performance responds to the user statement or query. The synthetic host performance is rendered to the user and supplemented with additional synthetic host performances as the video chat continues.

In an example, the processor obtains 3D scan data of a body part of a subject from the 3D scanning element, analyzes the 3D scan data for incomplete regions, generate a composite 3D image of 3D scan data from the database based on similarities of demographic information, and overlays composite 3D image regions corresponding to incomplete regions on the 3D scan data.
