    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, and a computer program for wireless communication that allows for greater scheduling flexibility of physical resources are disclosed. A UE receives information from a base station about a time division duplex (TDD) frame structure of a plurality of frames that include a plurality of subframes. The UE determines a control channel search space within the plurality of subframes based on the information. The UE determines a search strategy including a maximum aggregation level based on the control channel search space. The UE performs a blind decoding of the control channel search space with the search strategy to obtain control information. The control channel search space may include a size and a location of a subset of the DL subframes allowed to carry the control information. The UE may determine a plurality of UL subframes assigned for transmitting scheduled UL resources associated with a UL control signaling.

    Abstract: In order to conserve power resources for low complexity UEs, a base station may apparatus dynamically adjust a bandwidth configuration of a UE or the base station and communicates with the UE according to the dynamically adjusted bandwidth configuration. The communication may be narrowband communication. A UE may apparatus dynamically adjust a bandwidth configuration of the UE and communicates with a base station based on the dynamically adjusted bandwidth configuration. The dynamically adjusted bandwidth configuration may correspond to a function performed by the UE.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides for receiving a downlink transmission for wireless communications. A user equipment (UE) may receive, on a primary component carrier, an indication that a subframe of a secondary component carrier includes a discovery reference signal. During the subframe, the UE may receive, on the secondary component carrier over an unlicensed spectrum, a transmission including the discovery reference signal. The UE may rate match the transmission based on the indication. The disclosure further provides for discovering timing information during wireless communications. The UE may receive on a primary component carrier, an indication that a set of subframes of a carrier of a neighboring cell includes a discovery reference signal. The UE may determine a subframe to receive the discovery reference signal based on the indication. The UE may receive during the subframe, the discovery reference signal from the neighboring cell in an unlicensed spectrum.
