Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method performed by a processing system of determining a present orientation of a display region presented at a first time on a display of a video viewer, predicting a future orientation of the display region occurring at a second time based on data collected, to obtain a predicted orientation of the display region to be presented at the second time on the display of the video viewer, identifying, based on the predicted orientation of the display region, a first group of tiles from a video frame of a panoramic video being displayed by the video viewer, wherein the first group of tiles covers the display region in the video frame at the predicted orientation, and a plurality of objects moving in the video frame from the first time to the second time, wherein each object of the plurality of objects is located in a separate spatial region of the video frame at the second time, wherein a second group of tiles collectively covers the separate spatial regions, wherein tiles in the first group of tiles and tiles in the second group of tiles are different, and facilitating wireless transmission of the first group of tiles and a second tile from the second group of tiles, for presentation at the video viewer at the second time. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining media content from a media content server located outside a customer premises, in response to receiving a first request for the media content from a first media processor of a group of media processors. Further embodiments can include receiving a first plurality of requests for the media content from a first portion of the group of media processors within a first time period over the second communication network, and multicasting the media content to each of the first media processor and the first portion of the group of media processors over the second communication network. Each of the first media processor and the first portion of the group of media processors presents the media content to a respective display. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for scaling network capacity predictively, based on customer interest. For instance, in one example, a method includes predicting an interest of a first customer in data content that will be available for consumption over a data network at a time in the future, wherein the predicting is based on customer data including at least a search pattern associated with the first customer, flagging the data content when the predicting indicates at least a threshold degree of likelihood that the first customer will be interested in the data content, and scaling an allocation of resources of the data network to the first customer, based on the flagging.

Abstract: This disclosure describes a solution to assign values to personal objects. These values can be calculated based on a number of criteria and stored for the objects. Future values can also be projected. Types of value can include monetary, sentimental, and donation value. Personal objects, such as objects within the inventory of a house, apartment, or other dwelling, can be tagged using a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag or other tag that has at least a memory store, an antenna for communication within a near-field range, and optionally, a power supply, such as a battery. Such a tag can be applied to, or otherwise associated with, a personal object, such as a chair, a piece of artwork, or any other tangible object. The memory can be used to contain data associated with the object, which can be accessed via an RFID reader, which can be used to collect objects into an object inventory.

Abstract: Techniques for knowledge discovery based on indirect inference of association are presented. A data management component (DMC) can determine and extract, in a structured format, entities, relationships between entities, and concepts relating thereto in documents, based on analysis of information in the documents and/or keywords relating to concepts, to generate an association inference model. Using artificial intelligence techniques, DMC can embed the entities and relationships to a common representation to generate and train a scoring model that can be used to evaluate and score similarity strength between entities, including entities that do not have a known relationship, and can predict or infer relationships, including indirect relationships, between entities or between concepts. In that regard, DMC or user can evaluate concept-level scores to determine a level of relationship between concepts. DMC can feedback information from the scoring model or evaluation to update the association inference model.
