摘要: Systems and techniques are described for device interoperability for extended reality (XR). An apparatus, such as a mobile handset, runs a software application and uses the software application to generate first content to be displayed using a first display of the apparatus. The apparatus causes the first content to be displayed using the first display of the apparatus. The apparatus uses the software application to generate second content that is based on the first content, that is distinct from the first content, and that is to be displayed using a second display of a head-mounted apparatus. The apparatus causes the second content to be displayed using the second display of the head-mounted apparatus at least in part by sending the second content to the head-mounted apparatus. In some cases, the apparatus and the head-mounted apparatus are both associated with the same user, and are of different device types.

Example methods may include determining a first content stream of 3D content to send to a user device, where movement of the user device causes presentation of different portions of the 3D content at the user device, and determining a first position of the user device. Some methods may include causing presentation of a first portion of the first content stream at the user device, where the first portion corresponds to the first position, determining a second content stream of 3D content, where movement of the user device causes presentation of different portions of the 3D content at the user device, and causing presentation of a second portion of the second content stream at the user device, where the second portion corresponds to the first position of the user device.

摘要: A method for automatic selection of viewpoint characteristics and trajectories in volumetric video presentations includes receiving a plurality of video streams depicting a scene, wherein the plurality of video streams provides images of the scene from a plurality of different viewpoints, identifying a set of desired viewpoint characteristics for a volumetric video traversal of the scene, determining a trajectory through the plurality of video streams that is consistent with the set of desired viewpoint characteristics, rendering a volumetric video traversal that follows the trajectory, wherein the rendering comprises compositing the plurality of video streams, and publishing the volumetric video traversal for viewing on a user endpoint device.

摘要: A mechanism is provided for remote virtual reality viewing of an event using crowdsourcing. Each video perspective of a plurality of video perspectives of the event is analyzed to identify content and context of the event. A digital virtual reality (VR) experience (VRX) token stream of each video perspective of the plurality of video perspectives is produced based on the identified content and the identified context of the event. Responsive to a remote user initiating a viewing of a virtual reality presentation of the event, a set of digital VRX token streams of the event is presented to the remote user. Responsive to the remote user selecting one digital VRX token stream of the set of digital VRX token streams, the selected digital VRX token stream is presented to the remote user in a virtual reality format.

The receiving container includes a wall surface portion for preventing overflow of the deposited matter received through an opening of the receiving container when the roller holding member is positioned in the second position.

摘要: Invention relates to processing images of 3D scenes and to a method of asynchronous reprojection in a system of virtual or augmented reality, including (1) receiving color data and depth data of an initial 3D scene image for view A; (2) determining visual features of the initial 3D scene image and weights of the visual features, based on the color data, and determining depth of the visual features of the 3D scene image, based on the depth data; (3) generating a low polygonal grid for reprojection; (4) performing reprojection of the initial 3D scene image for view B different from view A by displacement of low polygonal grid nodes depending on the weights and depths of the image visual features. The method assures a high 3D scene frame rate, reduces image distortions at item borders during reprojection, and decreases data volume for 3D scene image transmitted via a communication channel.
