Abstract:
A keyboard etching apparatus includes a base on which a frame is fixed to support a laser beam source and a keyboard tray thereon to be spaced from each other in such a manner to allow a laser beam emitted from the laser beam source to project onto a keyboard removably supported on the keyboard tray for performing etching operation on the keyboard. A keyboard supply cart having a plurality of non-etched keyboards held therein and a keyboard collecting cart for collecting etched keyboards are respectively arranged on two opposite sides of the frame and movable along rails fixed on the base. A conveyor system is arranged between the keyboard supply cart and the keyboard collecting cart for sequentially moving each of the non-etched keyboards received in the keyboard supply cart to the keyboard tray to be etched by the laser beam and to simultaneously move the etched keyboard from the keyboard tray to the keyboard collecting cart to be collected therein.
Abstract:
A cattle scrubber comprising a frame which defines a geometrically shaped treatment zone, a cylindrical feeder barrel located in each corner of the treatment zone, and an elongated, flexible livestock insecticide applicator, which extends around the periphery of the treatment zone. The frame comprises a plurality of interconnected, elongated rigid ground engaging members which intersect at their ends to define the geometrically shaped treatment zone, and a plurality of rigid, elongated upstanding members, one of which is located at each corner intersection of the ground engaging members. Each feeder barrel is located near one of the upstanding members and provided with a feeder opening which is arranged to face inward into the treatment zone. An arcuate bracket member attached to each of the upstanding members is shaped to engage against the cylindrical sidewall of the feeder barrel. A rigid brace member extends angularly between each pair of transverse, intersecting ground engaging members near each corner intersection. The feeder barrels are retained in position, with their feeder openings facing inward into the treatment zone, by fastening the feeder barrels to the bracket members and the brace members. The insecticide applicator is suspended in an arc above the ground between the upper ends of each opposing pair of upstanding members. The insecticide applicator encloses the feeder barrels within the treatment zone such that the cattle must step under and brush against the applicator in order to obtain feed from the feeder barrel.
Abstract:
Bleach-additives and bleaching compositions comprising glycine anhydride activators are provided. The activators have the general formulas of: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can be the same or different and are a substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.9 alkyl or aryl residue; or ##STR2## where n is 0 to 50, R.sub.3 is a linear or branched alkyl, aryl, or alkaryl or arylalk with C.sub.1 -C.sub.25, --H, --OH, --OR.sub.5, --COOM, or SO.sub.3 M, where M is H or alkali metal or alkaline earth metal; R.sub.4 is a linear or branched alkylene, arylene, or alkylarylene or arylalkylene with C.sub.1 -C.sub.25 ; and, R.sub.5 is a linear or branched alkyl, aryl, or alkaryl or arylalk with C.sub.1 -C.sub.25. The compositions display low soil resistivity and are formulated to provide in-use pH values of from 7 to about 9.5. Additional ingredients may include detersive surfactants, emulsifiers, chelants, and nonsoap pH reducing ingredients. Both granular and liquid compositions are provided.
Abstract:
Bleaching detergent compositions comprising particular bleach activators are provided. Excellent bleaching is secured through the selection of bleach activators which operate successfully under mildly alkaline washing conditions or in the presence of reduced levels of hydrogen peroxide.
Abstract:
Debris removal apparatus, systems, and methods of using the same are described. An example debris removal apparatus includes a shaft, an energy source, a motor, a fan attached to the motor, and a switch. The shaft has a lengthwise axis, a first end, a second end, a first portion, a second portion, a third portion and defines an opening on the second end, a passageway in fluid communication with the opening, and a plurality of inlet openings on the third portion of the shaft in fluid communication with the passageway. The motor is operatively connected to the energy source and disposed between the plurality of inlet openings and the second end of the shaft. The motor has a lengthwise axis extending through a drive shaft. The lengthwise axis of the motor is parallel to the lengthwise axis of the shaft. The switch is operatively connected to the motor.

The present invention includes energy recovery, energy production, energy processing, pyrolysis, byproduct process utilization systems, separation process systems and handling and storage systems, as well as an open architecture for integration and development of additional processes, systems and applications. The system of the present invention primarily uses adaptive metrics, biometrics and thermal imaging sensory analysis (including additional input sensors for analysis) for monitoring and control with the utilization of an integrated artificial intelligence and automation control system, thus providing a balanced, environmentally-friendly ecosystem.
Abstract:
A weighted support assembly for supporting an upright post. The support assembly comprises: —a base frame comprising:—an elongate base member attached to the post and extending outwards from the post; and —a plurality of upright elongate members ascending from the base member; —a plurality of weights stacked in layers upon the base member; and —a top frame comprising:—an elongate top member attached to the post and extending outwards from the post above the base member; and —a plurality of elongate members descending from the top member. The ascending members engage telescopically with corresponding said descending members, and each said weight defines a hole therethrough which is penetrated by at least one of said ascending or descending members.
