Abstract: An encoder includes circuitry and memory. Using the memory, the circuitry selects, as a method of determining a first MV precision, a first method or a second method using information of neighboring blocks that are blocks processed and neighboring a current block, and determines, as a motion vector for encoding the current block, a motion vector having the first MV precision determined. In the first method, one MV precision is fixedly determined as the first MV precision. In the second method, one MV precision is selected from among selectable MV precisions, the one MV precision selected is determined as the first MV precision, and selection information indicating the one MV precision selected is encoded into a bitstream.

Abstract: A transmitting method includes: configuring a frame using a plurality of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, by allocating time resources and frequency resources to a plurality of transmission data; and transmitting the frame, wherein the frame includes a first period in which a preamble which includes information on a frame configuration of the frame is transmitted, and a second period in which the plurality of transmission data are transmitted by at least one of time division and frequency division, and among the plurality of OFDM symbols, OFDM symbols included in the second period include pilot symbols arranged along a time axis with a predetermined spacing therebetween, and a predetermined number of data symbols.

Abstract: The invention relates to a transmitting device for performing an initial and one or more retransmissions of data via a sidelink interface. A receiver and processor perform a resource sensing procedure to acquire information about radio resources usable for the device to transmit data at a later point in time. The processor performs an autonomous radio resource allocation to select time-frequency radio resources within a transmission window to be used for performing a first transmission of the data, based on information acquired by the resource sensing procedure. The processor determines a data transmission timing pattern, that indicates a transmission timing for performing one or more transmissions of data. A transmitter performs the first data transmission using the selected time-frequency radio resources and performs the data retransmissions at the transmission timing defined by the determined data transmission timing pattern with respect to the first data transmission.

Abstract: For a location displaced by four samples in a vertical direction or a horizontal direction from a current location, the encoder performs a first determination of determining only whether the location displaced by four samples is a TU boundary, where the current location is a sample location of a current sub-block boundary on which the determination process is to be performed. In the first determination, when it is determined that the location displaced by four samples is a TU boundary, the encoder sets a maximum filter length to a first value, and in the case otherwise, the encoder performs a second determination of determining whether a location displaced by eight samples in the vertical direction or the horizontal direction from the current location is a TU boundary.

Abstract: Provided is a control method of controlling locking or unlocking of storage using a blockchain. Abstract: Provided is an encoder including circuitry and memory coupled to the circuitry. A prediction mode for a current block is an affine mode, and in operation, the circuitry: derives a base motion vector which is a motion vector to be used in a prediction process for the current block, and is a motion vector at an affine-mode control point in the current block; derives a first motion vector different from the base motion vector; derives a motion vector difference based on a difference between the base motion vector and the first motion vector; determines whether the motion vector difference is greater than a threshold; if so, modifies a second motion vector different from the base motion vector and the first motion vector, and if not, does not modify the second motion vector; and encodes the current block using the second motion vector modified or the second motion vector not modified.
