Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for a display driver system and a display driver system. The method comprises: the control circuit transmitting a global signal and a first signal for a LED driver circuit in each stage to a first-stage LED driver circuit, wherein the global signal includes an command for indicating an operation mode of the LED driver circuit in each stage; the LED driver circuit in each stage determining the operation mode corresponding to the command according to the global signal, identifying a corresponding first signal of the LED driver circuit in the stage, and operating according to the determined operation mode and the corresponding first signal; and the LED driver circuit in each stage except for last stage transmitting the global signal to the LED driver circuit in its next stage, and in response to a completion of operation according to the determined operation mode and the corresponding first signal, transmitting the first signal for the LED driver circuit in each of sequential stages to the LED driver circuit in its next stage.

Abstract: An electronic device, a fingerprint sensing control method and a fingerprint scanning control method are provided. A sensing region of a display panel is divided into a plurality of fingerprint zones. The electronic device determines at least one target fingerprint zone from the fingerprint zones according to a touched area. The electronic device scans the at least one target fingerprint zone to control the at least one target fingerprint zone for performing fingerprint sensing. The electronic device performs an accelerated scanning operation. The accelerated scanning operation includes: setting a scanning speed corresponding to at least one target scanning group coupled to at least the touched area to a first speed; and setting a scanning speed corresponding to one or more scanning groups other than the at least one target scanning group to a second speed higher than the first speed.

Abstract: A compute-in-memory (CIM) macro device and an electronic device are proposed. The CIM macro device includes a CIM cell array including multiple CIM cells. First data is being divided into at least two bit groups including a first bit group which is the most significant bits of the first data and a second bit group which is the least significant bits of the first data, and the bit groups are respectively loaded in CIM cells of different columns of the CIM cell array. The electronic device includes at least one CIM macro and at least one processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to receive and perform operation on parallel outputs respectively corresponding to the columns of the CIM cell array, where the parallel outputs include multiple correspondences, and where each of the correspondences includes most significant bits of an output activation and least significant bits of the output activation.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a display equipment, a brightness compensation device, and a brightness compensation method. The brightness compensation device includes a variable refresh rate (VRR) detection circuit and a control circuit. The VRR detection circuit and the control circuit receive a video stream from a video source device, and the video stream includes a VRR video frame. The VRR detection circuit detects a blanking period of the VRR video frame and generates a detection result. The control circuit outputs the frame data of the VRR video frame to the display device during the valid data period of the VRR video frame. The control circuit repeatedly outputs the frame data of the VRR video frame to the display device during the blanking period of the VRR video frame according to the detection result until the blanking period ends.

Abstract: Provided are a fingerprint identification method for a panel, an electronic device and a control circuit. The method includes setting voltages on the data lines and sensing lines that may affect a fingerprint identification result to a predetermined DC voltage during a predetermined time period before a start of a fingerprint identification period that follows a display driving period. As such, when a display driving operation and a fingerprint identification operation are performed in a time-division manner, the influence of the display driving operation on the fingerprint identification operation can be eliminated, that is, the influence on the fingerprint identification result from the voltage on the data line and sensing line can be eliminated.

Abstract: A method for fingerprint recognition and a fingerprint recognition device are provided. The method includes the following steps. A touch position of a touch panel is obtained as a fingerprint position. A fingerprint recognition operation is performed according to the fingerprint position. Whether the fingerprint recognition operation is successful is determined. In response to determining that the fingerprint recognition operation is not successful, at least one first position of the touch panel as an updated fingerprint position is generated according to the touch position of the touch panel, and the fingerprint recognition operation is performed according to the updated fingerprint position.
