    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which a first user equipment (UE) may transmit a first communication to a second UE during a first channel occupancy time (COT). The first UE may reserve resources of one or more subsequent COTs for one or more repetitions of the first communication. The reserved resources may be identified based at least in part on a two stage resource reservation, in which reserved resources are identified relative to a timing of the one or more subsequent COTs. Such a UE may first determine a timing of a second COT and may then determine a timing of the reserved resources based on the timing of the second COT. The reserved resources may be identified based at least in part on one or more offsets from a starting time of the second COT.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described in which a user equipment (UE) may transmit one or more uplink communications to multiple transmission-reception points (TRPs). Transmission parameters for each repetition may be based on parameters (e.g., a number of antenna ports, a spatial domain filter or beam, a rank or number of layers, or any combinations thereof) that are determined from an indication of whether the repetitions are to use different sounding reference signal (SRS) resource sets, and indicated SRS resource of each SRS resource set. The indication may include a same number of bits regardless of whether one SRS resource set is used or multiple SRS resource sets are used, and may be based on a prior configuration of the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to support resource block (RB) grid alignment at user equipments (UE) in sidelink communications. In a first example, communicating UEs may support different RB grids and a receiving UE may attempt multiple decoding hypotheses for receiving a sidelink control channel from a transmitting UE, where each hypothesis may correspond to a different RB grid. In a second example, an RB grid for a sidelink control channel may be common, or aligned, for a transmitting UE and a receiving UE, such that the receiving UE may receive the sidelink control channel using the common RB grid. In a third example, demodulation reference signals (DMRSs) and resource element (RE) rate matching for a sidelink control channel may be common, or aligned, for a transmitting UE and a receiving UE, such that the receiving UE may receive the control channel using the aligned DMRSs.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive a first configuration communication associated with a first shared channel communication that includes a first demodulation reference signal (DMRS) having a first configurable DMRS lifespan, wherein the first configuration communication comprises a DMRS sharing indication associated with reuse of the first DMRS associated with a second shared channel communication. The UE may receive the first shared channel communication. The UE may receive the second shared channel communication based at least in part on the DMRS sharing indication.
