    摘要: Medical devices and methods of treatment using medical devices, and more particularly, methods of treating a treatment site in a blood vessel and devices or apparatuses for use therewith. In some embodiments, a method and apparatus for treating a treatment site in a blood vessel using fluid movement or agitation adjacent the treatment site is disclosed. In some embodiments, an apparatus is provided including one or more deployable structures adapted to create fluid movement within the vessel. The apparatus is inserted into the vessel, and the deployable structure is positioned adjacent the treatment site. The deployable structure is used to create fluid movement adjacent to the treatment site. In some embodiments, a treatment material, such as a medicine or drug, is introduced into the vessel proximate the treatment site, and the deployable structure is used to create fluid movement or agitation adjacent the treatment site to create a better interface between the treatment site and the medicine, or to move the medicine into the treatment site. In some embodiments, the fluid movement created by the deployable member aids in removal of tissue or other material from the treatment site.

    摘要: A stent, an intermediate article in the manufacture of a stent, and a method of forming a stent from a workpiece are disclosed. A portion of the wall thickness of a workpiece may be removed, demarcating the structural framework of a stent from the remainder of the workpiece material during a cutting process. In some embodiments, a residuum layer of material remaining after a cutting process may have a recessed surface in relation to a first surface of the structural framework of the stent formed in the workpiece. In some embodiments, a plurality of kerf channels may be cut in a workpiece to demarcate a structural framework of a stent from waste material of the workpiece. In some embodiments, a series of perforations may, at least in part, demarcate the structural framework of a stent from the remainder of the workpiece material. The waste material and/or residuum material may be removed from the structural framework of a stent during a post-cutting process.

Non-uniformity can be used to steer a constructively interfering B1 field node to spatially correlate with an anatomic region of interest. A convex (quadratically constrained quadratic problem) formulation of the B1 localization problem can be used to select parameters for exciting the coil.
