The system includes an image acquisition unit to acquire two images having different levels of illuminance and sensitivity as first and second images; a motion vector estimation unit to extract a motion vector of the second image based on the first image; an image correction unit to correct the second image using the extracted motion vector; a synthesis coefficient calculation unit to calculate a synthesis coefficient used to synthesize the first image and the corrected second image; and an image synthesis unit to synthesize the first image and the corrected second image using the calculated synthesis coefficient.

摘要： Provided are a method and apparatus for recognizing a plurality of faces. In the method, a plurality of faces are detected from received video frames, the detected faces are sequentially recognized in predetermined frames that fall within a predetermined recognition period from among the detected frames, and then, the recognized faces are sequentially displayed. Accordingly, the amount of calculation is less than when simultaneously performing face detection and recognition on each frame.

The chromatic aberration correction apparatus includes a chromatic aberration region sensing unit analyzing a luminance signal of an input image and sensing a region having chromatic aberration; a color gradient calculation unit calculating a first weight, which indicates a degree of chromatic aberration, based on a difference between gradients of color components of the input image; a luminance gradient calculation unit calculating a second weight, which indicates the degree of chromatic aberration, based on gradients of luminance components of the input image; and a chrominance correction unit correcting chrominance of a pixel of the input image, which is included in the sensed region, based on a value obtained by multiplying the first weight by the second weight.

摘要： A method and an apparatus for adaptively enhancing a color of an image are provided. The apparatus includes a saturation component deriving unit, a saturation enhancement function determining variable calculator, a saturation enhancement unit, and a saturation component synthesizing unit. The saturation component deriving unit derives a saturation component from an input image. The saturation enhancement function determining variable calculator determines a saturation enhancement function used to enhance the saturation of the input image based upon a predetermined reference value. The saturation enhancement unit changes the derived saturation component using the saturation enhancement function. The saturation component synthesizing unit synthesizes the changed saturation component and other components of the input image and generates an output image based upon the synthesized components.
