摘要： An electrophoretic display device includes: a transparent substrate positioned at a display side and having a transparent front electrode; a wiring substrate disposed to face the transparent substrate and having a field applying unit; a spacer disposed between the transparent substrate and the wiring substrate and having a plurality of accommodating holes with upper and lower portions open; and a plurality of microcapsules respectively positioned in the plurality of accommodating holes and including a dispersion solvent encapsulated with a plurality of charged particles contained therein, wherein the accommodating holes comprise upper holes with a width for receiving the microcapsules and lower holes allowing the microcapsules to be mounted thereon.

摘要： There is provided an electronic paper display device and a manufacturing method thereof. The electronic paper display device includes a thin film transistor; a first substrate formed on the thin film transistor and having therein a plurality of pixel electrodes connected to the thin film transistor; a second substrate disposed to face the first substrate and having a common electrode thereon; a plurality of partitions disposed between the first and second substrates to provide a cell space to each of the pixel electrodes; and a display unit disposed in the cell space. The electronic paper display device is superior in the stability and uniformity of an image.

The electronic paper display device includes first and second electrodes opposing each other, a plurality of rotary bodies disposed between the first and second electrodes and having electrical and optical anisotropy, elastomer matrix blocks each surrounding at least one of the plurality of rotary bodies and spaced apart from each other, and an optical adhesive formed between the elastomer matrix blocks. The electronic paper display device achieves a high contrast ratio and a relative low driving voltage. Also, the use of the optical adhesive facilitates the adhesion of the first and second electrodes, and blocks the vaporization of dielectric liquid filing a cavity, thereby ensuring high reliability.

摘要： Provided is a method of fabricating a thin film device. A sacrifice layer is formed on a first substrate. A thin film laminated body is formed on the sacrifice layer. A separation groove exposing the sacrifice layer is formed to divide the thin film laminated body into at least one thin film device. The sacrifice layer is partially removed using a dry etching process. After the partial removal of the sacrifice layer, a remaining sacrifice layer region maintains the thin film device on the first substrate. A supporting structure is temporarily joined to the thin film device. The thin film device joined to the supporting structure is separated from the first substrate. Then, the remaining sacrifice layer is removed. The thin film device joined to the supporting structure is joined to a second substrate. Finally, the supporting structure is separated from the thin film device.
