    Abstract: A manufacturing method for a sliding member is a method for manufacturing the sliding member in which a surface of an oxide film covering a metal base material serves as a sliding surface, and includes a dispersion step for dispersing a plurality of hard particles having a higher hardness than the oxide film through a surface layer of the metal base material, an oxide film generation step for generating the oxide film on the surface of the metal base material after the dispersion step, and an exposure step for exposing some of the plurality of hard particles from the surface of the oxide film by partially removing the oxide film.

    Abstract: A valve includes: a valve case; and an annular valve body, one of the inner circumference end and the outer circumference end of the valve body being formed as the free end capable of moving towards both sides in the axial direction with respect to the valve case. The valve case has the annular opposing surface capable of opposing to the free end so as to form the gap therebetween, and the guide surface that is positioned on one side of the opposing surface in the axial direction, the guide surface being continuous with the part of the opposing surface in the circumferential direction. The guide surface is inclined in the direction away from the valve body as the distance from the opposing surface is increased.

    Abstract: Providing an overturn preventing device which can be easily mounted at an appropriate inclination angle. The overturn preventing device includes a damper, a pair of bases, and an angle regulator. The damper is mounted between a top surface of a piece of furniture installed on an installation surface and a ceiling. Both ends of the damper are respectively coupled to the bases so as to be rotatable about respective rotation axes. The first base abuts against the top surface of the furniture and the second base abuts against the ceiling. The angle regulator is attached to the first base. The angle regulator regulates an inclination angle of the damper.

    Abstract: Providing a seal member taking-out device which can successfully take out a larger number of seal members. The seal member taking-out device includes a shaft member, a cylinder member, a moving member, and a taking-out member. The shaft member is columnar or cylindrical. The cylinder member is cylindrical and the shaft member is inserted through the cylinder member so that the cylinder member is movable in a direction of a central axis of the shaft member. The cylinder member is shorter than the shaft member and extends in the direction of the central axis of the shaft member. The moving member moves a plurality of seal members stacked on the shaft member and the cylinder member, in a direction of a distal end of the shaft member. The taking-out member takes out the seal members from the distal end of the shaft member.

    Abstract: A damping valve includes a valve element member, a disc spring, and a solenoid. The valve element member opens and closes an upstream side and a downstream side of a pilot passage by a pressure control valve element seated on and liftable from a pressure control valve seat and an open/close valve element seated on and liftable from an open/close valve seat. The disc spring is interposed between a stepped part and the valve element member. The disc spring biases the valve element member in a direction in which the pressure control valve element separates from the pressure control valve seat and in which the open/close valve element approaches the open/close valve seat. The solenoid is configured to drive the valve element member against a biasing force by the disc spring. In a state in which the disc spring has a natural length, a clearance is formed between the open/close valve element and the open/close valve seat.
