    摘要： Disclosed is an apparatus for preventing image sticking of a video display appliance and method thereof that can effectively remove a black display region appearing on a border part of a display screen of the video display appliance when an image sticking function is performed. The apparatus includes a control unit for outputting a control signal for zooming an input video signal at a predetermined zooming rate and performing the image-sticking prevention function if an image-sticking prevention mode is set, and a video processing unit for zooming the video signal at the predetermined zooming rate and processing the zoomed video signal to display the zoomed video signal on a display screen according to the control signal from the control unit. By zooming the video signal at the predetermined zooming rate and then by repeatedly performing a slight movement of the zoomed video signal being displayed on the display screen left/right/upward/downward, the black display region can be removed from the display screen.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a transmitter and a receiver for speech coding and decoding by using an additional bit allocation method. The transmitter and the receiver according to the present invention realize a voice communication service of high quality by using additional bits permitted in system requirements while using a conventional speech coder as it is. In addition, the transmitter and the receiver according to the present invention have an advantage in that they enable insertion of additional quantization blocks while not changing the structure of the conventional standard speech coder, since they allocate additional bits by applying a multi-stage quantization procedure not in a speech signal domain but in a parameter domain.

A second transcoder performs at least one of bit-unpacking and unquantization on an encoded packet at the second encoder, namely transmitting party, to obtain an LSP parameter of the second encoder, and converts and unquantizes the LSP parameter to an LSP parameter of the first encoder, namely receiving party, to do bit-packing.

Disclosed is a toe cap for footwear characterized by a first feature, wherein the toe cap is highest at a big toe region and gradually slopes downward toward the little toe; and a second feature, wherein the top cap has the shape of a circular arc along the outer shape of the toes and first to fourth grooves are formed at four positions between the five toes, respectively, so as to support each toe. In addition the outsole integrated with the toe cap is characterized by having a support groove which is formed at a front upper end surface to accommodate the bottom surface of at least one or more of the toes.
