    摘要: A color processing apparatus performs the masking process of a color image by receiving a plurality of color component signals, and has a masking circuit for performing a linear masking process for the plurality of color component signals. The masking process utilizes a plurality of coefficients each of which has a particular value. The value of at least one of the coefficients of the masking circuit is varied in accordance with levels of the plurality of color component signals. A signal indicative of an amount of one kind of colorant which is to be recorded prior to the recording of other kinds of colorants can be discriminated, and a signal level which indicates the amount of the other kinds of colorants to be recorded on the same area after the recording of the one kind of colorant is corrected in accordance with the discrimination result.

    摘要: An information recording apparatus, includes a semiconductor light source responsive to an information signal to be recorded to produce information light; a photosensitive member for receiving the information light produced by said semiconductor light source; a driver for supplying to said semiconductor light source an electric current I.sub.0 having a current level lower than a light emitting threshold current Ith of said semiconductor light source before said semiconductor light source is driven in accordance with the information signal to be recorded, so that said semiconductor light source heats itself by the application of the current I.sub.0. Thus when the apparatus is in a stand-by state, the semicondcutor light source is supplied with an electric current which has a lower level than the threshold level, so that the semiconductor light source is self-heated due to the low level current.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus is used in conjunction with a signal generator for producing an image signal representing an image to be recorded. The apparatus includes a device for forming a visible image with visible material on an image bearing member. The image is represented by the image signal produced by the signal generator. A time signal is also generated by a time signal generator and a measuring circuit measures the time signal so generated as a function of the production off the image signal by the image signal generator. Finally, a warning signal that indicates insufficiency of supply of the visible material for forming an image properly by the image forming device is produced on the basis of measurement of the time signal by the measuring circuit.
