Abstract: A sprayer device with a trigger operated pump is operative for pumping and spraying liquid from an attached liquid container. The sprayer device includes an integrally molded valve body provided with a base portion that is configured to be mounted to the neck of the liquid container and a delivery nozzle from which the liquid is sprayed. A pumping chamber in the valve body is in fluid communication with an inside of the fluid container and is further in fluid communication with the delivery nozzle. The valve body is further provided with a head portion that has a filling passage extending between the head portion and the base portion such that a liquid received in the head portion flows through the valve body, around the pumping chamber and exits the base portion into the mounted liquid container.

Abstract: A sustained duration trigger sprayer capable of dispensing at least 3 mL of product over a time period of about 3 seconds utilizing a force-to-actuate of between about 10 pounds and about 15 pounds. The trigger sprayer includes an enlarged piston bore and piston and an elongated trigger lever creating a high output fluid displacement with a 0.5 inch displacement distance. The container bottle and/or the sprayer shroud are contoured to provide a gripping area opposing the terminal end of the trigger lever wherein the gripping distance in from the gripping area to the terminal end of the trigger lever is no greater than 3.3 inches.

Abstract: A dispensing pump includes a polymer compression spring assembly. The dispensing pump includes a pump base, and a dispensing head having a piston stem. The polymer compression spring assembly includes a slotted tubular spring element and first and second loading cones received at opposing ends of the slotted tubular spring element. The first loading cone is fixed relative to the pump base while the second loading cone is axially movable with the piston stem and dispensing head. The tubular spring element is disposed coaxially about the piston stem between the cones. When the dispensing head is compressed, the loading cones axially compress toward each other whereby the slotted tubular spring element radially expands to create an opposing contraction force, and in turn, an axial extension force. When released, the spring element elastically contracts to its at rest shape, returning the loading cones and dispensing head to their at rest positions.

Abstract: An aerosol sprayer may be connected to an aerosol container to form an aerosol delivery system. The aerosol sprayer includes a base secured to the container, a cap secured to the base, a pivoting trigger and a sliding nozzle body with an integrated nozzle/manifold which is slidably movable relative to the trigger between an extended operable position and a retracted, locked position. Abstract: An all plastic compression spring assembly includes a slotted tubular spring element formed from a tensile polymer material and upper and lower loading cones received at opposing upper and lower ends of the slotted tubular spring element. The upper loading cone may be axially compressible towards the lower loading cone within the slotted tubular spring element whereby the slotted tubular spring element radially expands in tension to create an opposing radial contraction force, and in turn, an axial extension spring force. When released, the spring element elastically returns to its normal at rest shape, returning the cones to their normal at rest positions. In some dispenser configurations, the lower loading cone may be stationary or fixed within the dispensing head and the upper loading cone may be downwardly compressible toward the lower loading cone by movement of a nozzle head.
