Abstract:
An RFID tag reader writer receives temperature data from a temperature sensor and writes the temperature data in a RFID tag. The temperature sensor may be attached to a commodity or arranged near the commodity.
Abstract:
In order to provide a compact loop antenna, for use in an inductive read/write apparatus, capable of extending a communication range even if the antenna area or power supply thereto is constrained, a compact loop antenna, for use in an inductive read/write apparatus, comprises two layers of loop antennas, each thereof comprising a printed circuit board 2 for featuring a loop pattern 1, a loop pattern 1 formed by an etching process on the printed circuit board 2, and a start terminal 3 and a end terminal 4 for supplying power for signal transmission and outputting a received signal and each thereof maintaining a predetermined distance from each other.
Abstract:
A wireless tag system which does not require any anti-collision process or, if an anti-collision process is required, can reduce the number of tags that need to participate in the anti-collision process to make the anti-collision process proceeds fast. The wireless tag system comprises a plurality of wireless slave tags which have respective unique IDs, a plurality of wireless master tags arranged for the slave tags and storing the unique IDs of the slave tags and a wireless tag access control device which accesses the master tags to acquire the unique IDs of the slave tags from the master tags and subsequently accessing the slave tags by using the acquired unique IDs of the slave tags.
Abstract:
An extruding apparatus for food materials having a filling material and a wrapping material extrudes and envelops the filling material with the wrapping material. An internal cylinder supplies the filling material while a concentrically arranged external cylinder creates an annular space for extruding and enveloping the material supplied. The wrapping material is fluidized by a fluidizer accommodated in the annular space. A driving mechanism is sealed from the fluidizer and drives the fluidizer in the annular space. The driving mechanism is driven by a transmission mechanism. A storage space section near the seals prevents wrapping material from penetrating the driving mechanism.
Abstract:
An encryption processor for encrypting and decrypting data that ensures data security by preventing illegal deciphering or leakage of the data. The encryption processor includes a CPU for running a program, a ROM for storing the program run by the CPU, a RAM used as a work area while the CPU is running the program, an I/O section for sending/receiving data to/from an external device, and an encryption section for decrypting encrypted data and encrypting plain text data.
Abstract:
A non-contact IC recording medium that operates in response to a radio instruction from a reader/writer includes a write-protect area setting unit that sets a write-protect area where a writing of data is prohibited; an area determining unit that determines, when data for the writing is received, whether an area where the data is to be written is the write-protect area; and a write processing unit that writes, when the area determining unit determines that the area is not the write-protect area, writes the data in the area, and changes the area into the write-protect area.
Abstract:
A DVD reproduction apparatus which is connected to the HDMI monitor that displays image information and which outputs the image information to the HDMI monitor, is provided with: the CPU which acquires conditions information indicating display conditions of the HDMI monitor from the HDMI monitor in advance; the information conversion section which converts the image information to be outputted to the HDMI monitor based on the conditions information; and the HDMI sending section which outputs the image information converted by the information conversion section, to the HDMI monitor.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device connection state recognizing method capable of recognizing a connection state of devices without addition of signal lines dedicated to detection. Thus, in the method according to this invention, a portion of or all of a plurality of data signal lines are connected through pull-up resistors to a high electric potential or connected through pull-down resistors to a low electric potential in accordance with the connection state of the devices, and a processing unit reads, as structure information data, a high electric potential state/low electric potential state generated by the pull-up resistor/pull-down resistor in the portion of or all the plurality of data signal lines to recognize the connection state of the devices on the basis of the read structure information data. This invention is applicable to a various types of processing units which are to be connected through a common data bus to a plurality of devices.
Abstract:
An integrated unit for producing double-layered spherical products (23) in two rows on a belt conveyor (25) under it is disclosed. The length of the integrated unit is aligned with the traveling direction of the conveyor (25) in order to reduce the space needed on both sides of the conveyor (25). The integrated unit includes a filling feeder (15) and a casing feeder (17) for feeding a filling (5) and a casing (9) such that the feeders (15) and (17) are arranged opposite each other. A space between the feeders (15) and (17) of the integrated unit is provided with vane pumps (29A) and (29B) and a pair of double nozzles (13A) and (13B), which are positioned in the center of the integrated unit. The vane pumps (29A) and (29B) pump the corresponding materials (5) and (9) from the corresponding feeders (15) and (17) to the corresponding double nozzles (13A) and (13B). Each double nozzle extrudes the filling (5) and the casing (9) in a form of a double-layered elongated product. The integrated unit also includes a pair of cutting mechanisms (21) for cutting the elongated product into a plurality of double-layered spherical products (23), and for dropping them on the conveyor (25) in two rows.
Abstract:
A method of communication between an adapter and a drive improves the data processing efficiency of the adapter and data transfer efficiency between the adapter and the drive. The drive has a slot to receive a disk cartridge containing a disk and drives the cartridge. The adapter is shaped to be inserted into the slot of the drive. The adapter has a controller to transfer data between the adapter and the drive through the heads thereof. The controller formats data so that the formatted data may fit into at least part of a disk format having tracks and sectors handled by the drive. The controller assigns a specific one of the tracks to the formatted data and transmits the track with the data to the drive.
