    摘要: A camera incorporates a photo film support plate, which supports a back of photo film. The photo film has a magnetic recording area. An opening is formed in the photo film support plate. A magnetic head projects forwards from inside the opening, for recording information to and/or reading information from the magnetic recording area. A head base plate is mounted on a rear face of the photo film support plate to cover the opening, for supporting the magnetic head. Adhesive agent is applied to the periphery of the head base plate, and hardened for securing the head base plate to the photo film support plate. A pair of recesses are formed in a rear face of the head base plate in a vicinity of the periphery. The adhesive agent is disposed to extend from a front face of the head base plate to a surface of the recesses, which enlarge a contact area between the adhesive agent and the head base plate.

    摘要: A magnetic read-write device with a magnetic head consisting of a core and a coil. The read-write device is incorporated into in a camera. A writing circuit is connected directly and in parallel to the coil, for driving the coil with writing current in a writing mode for writing binary code data on a magnetic recording layer provided on photo film. The writing circuit has a pair of write control switches which are turned ON and OFF alternately to each other, to apply the writing current to the coil in alternating directions. An amplification circuit is also connected directly and in parallel to the coil. The amplification circuit amplifies signal voltage induced between terminals of the coil in a reading mode for reading binary code data from the magnetic recording layer, to output a reproduction signal. A switching transistor is connected in a line through which a drive voltage is supplied to the amplification circuit. In the writing mode, the switching transistor is turned OFF to deactivate the amplification circuit. In the reading mode, the switching transistor is turned ON, and the write control switches are turned OFF.

    摘要: A magnetic recording method or device for recording binary code data on a magnetic recording track of photo film while moving the photo film in a direction on a magnetic head. Each bit of the binary code data is recorded as a bit segment of a constant length constituted of a forward magnetic zone magnetized in a forward direction identical to a film advance direction, and a reversed magnetic zone magnetized in reverse to the forward direction and disposed behind the forward magnetic zone. The forward magnetic zone has one of two different lengths within each bit segment depending upon binary value of the bit segment. An additional reversed magnetic zone is recorded immediately before a start bit segment of the binary code data, for a time period which is determined for recording the forward magnetic zone of the start bit segment. An additional forward magnetic zone is recorded immediately after an end bit segment of the binary code data, for a time period which is used for recording the reversed magnetic zone of the end bit segment. As a result of this, the first and last bits of data are more reliably generated.

    摘要: A copy item transport device is used in an image forming apparatus having an image bearing member and a pair of registration rollers before the image bearing member, and includes a separator for regulating multiple copy items to one copy item for each image formation. The separator is constructed by a forward roller being driven in a forward direction of transporting the copy item to the registration roller pair, a reverse roller in contact with the forward roller. The reverse roller is driven in a reverse direction of transporting the copy item backward, but rotatable in the forward direction together with the forward roller when receiving a greater transmitted forward torque from the forward roller than the reverse torque. The reverse drive to the reverse roller is stopped at the same time or after the forward drive to the forward roller is stopped to assure the nip of copy item by the registration roller pair.
