摘要： A method for removal of excess process water from a fuel cell system comprises: collecting excess process water in a container; applying vibrations, e.g. ultrasonic vibrations, to at least a portion of the water to create a mist of water; and removing the mist of water from the container and expelling the mist into the ambient atmosphere. The mist may be directed to a radiator to promote evaporation. A corresponding system for removal of excess process water from a fuel cell system comprises is also provided.

摘要： An information storage device is disclosed (such as a disk drive) comprising an interface for connecting to a host through a cable, and control circuitry for communicating with the host over the cable by executing a communication process. The communication processes comprises the steps of transmitting a communication request to the host over the cable and waiting to receive a response from the host over the cable. A cable loss event is logged if the host fails to respond after executing the communication process at least twice. Performing the communication process multiple times before logging a cable loss event helps ensure a communication failure is actually due to a faulty cable connection.

摘要： Systems and methods for providing illumination of a specimen for inspection are provided. One system includes one or more first optical elements configured to illuminate a diffuser with a predetermined pattern of coherent light. The system also includes one or more second optical elements configured to image light exiting the diffuser onto an illumination pupil of the system such that the predetermined pattern is reproduced in the illumination pupil. In addition, the system includes an objective lens configured to focus light from the predetermined pattern in the illumination pupil onto a specimen plane. In one embodiment, the light focused onto the specimen plane is not substantially coherent. In another embodiment, the predetermined pattern is selected based on an illumination mode selected for the inspection of the specimen.

The operator of the content delivery platform establishes perimeters defining geographic areas, and maintains records reserving particular areas for delivery of content associated with particular sponsors. Registered applications running on mobile devices can request content from the content delivery platform. Based at least in part on the request, the content delivery platform can identify a target location, which may be the location of the mobile device, or some other location indicated in the request. A mobile device can be provided content based on the relationship of the target location to the geographic areas, so that a registered application running on a mobile device with a target location contained within a geographic area assigned to a particular sponsor will receive content related to that sponsor.
