Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods for determining a placement of virtual objects in a collection of virtual objects when changing from a first viewing arrangement to a second viewing arrangement based on their respective positions in one of the viewing arrangements. In some implementations, a method includes displaying a set of virtual objects in a first viewing arrangement in a first region of an environment. The set of virtual objects are arranged in a first spatial arrangement. A user input corresponding to a request to change to a second viewing arrangement in a second region of the environment is obtained. A mapping is determined between the first spatial arrangement and a second spatial arrangement based on spatial relationships between the set of virtual objects. The set of virtual objects is displayed in the second viewing arrangement in the second region of the environment.

Abstract: A method is performed at an electronic device with one or more processors, a non-transitory memory, a display, and a communication interface provided to communicate with a finger-wearable device. The method includes displaying first instructional content that is associated with a first gesture. The first instructional content includes a first object. The method includes determining an engagement score that characterizes a level of user engagement with respect to the first object. The method includes obtaining finger manipulation data from the finger-wearable device via the communication interface. The method includes determining that the finger-wearable device performs the first gesture based on a function of the finger manipulation data. The method includes, in response to determining that the finger-wearable device performs the first gesture, in accordance with a determination that the engagement score satisfies an engagement criterion, displaying an indication indicating that the first gesture is directed to the first object.

Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that enable presenting environments including visual representations of multiple applications. In one implementation, a method includes presenting a view of an environment at an electronic device on a display. The view includes visual representations of a plurality of applications. The method further includes determining to provide a first application with access to a control parameter. The control parameter is configured to modify at least a portion of the view of the environment with virtual content, and the portion of the view includes at least a portion of content outside of a view of a visual representation associated with the first application. The method further includes restricting access to the control parameter by other applications which prevents the other applications from modifying the at least the portion of the view of the environment via the control parameter.
