摘要: The invention relates to a lighting device (10) with a light emitter (1) that comprises OLEDs of at least two different primary colors. The light emitter (1) is followed by a primary optics, e.g. a collimator (13) or a lens, and by a tapered tubular reflector (14) with a diameter (d) that increases from its narrow end to its wide end. The light emitter (1) may particularly be composed of concentric rings of different OLEDs.

摘要: An illumination system has at least one organic light-emitting diode (1) deposited on a rigid and translucent substrate (11). The organic light-emitting diode includes first (3) and second (4) electrodes for providing electrical power to the organic light-emitting diode. The substrate at a side facing away from the organic light-emitting diode is arranged on a translucent waveguide (15). The waveguide at a side facing away from the organic light-emitting diode is provided with means (25) for coupling out light emitted by the organic light-emitting diode. In operation, light generated by the organic light-emitting diode travels through the substrate and the waveguide and is emitted by the illumination system in a direction substantially normal to the waveguide. Preferably, the illumination system comprises a plurality of organic light-emitting diodes arranged on the translucent waveguide. According to the invention, light emission by the illumination system is improved.

摘要: The invention relates to an electroluminescent device comprising a substrate (1) and a laminated body composed of a first electrode (3), an electroluminescent layer (4) and a second electrode (5). The light output out of the electroluminescent device is increased by arranging a colloidal layer (2) between the substrate (1) and the laminated body. By using pigments in the colloidal layer (2), the emmission color of the electroluminescent device can be changed and the daylight contrast improved.

摘要: Organic light emitting devices emit light when operated with low dc voltage forward bias. According to the present invention, a space saving circuit arrangement of organic light emitting devices is disclosed, the circuit arrangement emitting light on both the positive and the negative cycle of an ac driving voltage. Furthermore a method is disclosed for producing the circuit arrangement on a substrate. Advantageously, the present invention allows for high voltage ac driving of organic light emitting devices or organic diodes without the need of additional rectifying electronics.

摘要: The invention describes an electroluminescent device equipped with a substrate, a metallic structure and a layer assembly comprising at least a first electrode, an electroluminescent layer and a second electrode. The metallic structure, which is in electrical contact with the first electrode, exhibits a lower layer resistance than the first electrode. Owing to the electrical contact with the first electrode, the layer resistance of the first electrode, and thus the voltage drop over the first electrode, is reduced.
