    Abstract: A surgical tool can include a main unit and a first rigid sheath. The main unit includes an inner tube that is received within an outer tube. The first rigid sheath removably receives the main unit and connects to the main unit via a coupling between a first connector portion of the main unit and a second connector portion of the rigid sheath. The first rigid sheath can be completely removed from the main unit when the first connector portion is decoupled from the second connector portion. A different rigid sheath having a different shape from the shape of the first rigid sheath can then be removably attached to the main unit instead of the first rigid sheath. A surgical tool kit includes a plurality of rigid sheaths having different shapes and having the ability to be removably attached to the main unit.

    Abstract: An otologic prosthesis is disclosed. In accordance with some embodiments, the device includes a set of crimping prongs comprising a lattice structure provided on a surface of each crimping prong in the set of crimping prongs to support and promote osseointegration. In accordance with some embodiments, the stem and the TM plate are separate pieces configured to be attached by a snap-fit mechanism. In accordance with some embodiments, the device is an adjustable length prosthesis with an internalized sizing mechanism. In accordance with some embodiments, the device is adjustable by a rotatable joint that facilitates rotation of a first stem section with respect to a second stem section for adjustment and readjustment on a patient-specific basis.

    Abstract: A debrider that includes an outer tubular member, and an inner tubular member located inside the outer tubular member. The inner tubular member includes an aspiration channel. The outer tubular member includes a declogging feature. The declogging feature extends from an inside distal wall of the outer tubular member in a proximal direction towards a distal wall of the inner member. The declogging feature is at least partially received into the aspiration channel through a distal opening defined in the distal end of the inner member, and is configured to push any matter located inside the aspiration channel in a proximal direction.

And a surgical device comprising: a handle assembly comprising a rotatable drive shaft; a removable handle assembly adapter for connection to the handle assembly, the removable handle assembly adapter comprising a rotatable transmission shaft for connection to the rotatable drive shaft of the handle assembly; and a removable nosepiece assembly for connection to the removable handle assembly adapter and for selectively securing the shaft of a working element to the rotatable transmission shaft of the removable handle assembly adapter; wherein the removable handle assembly adapter and the removable nosepiece assembly each comprise a locking collar; and wherein the removable handle assembly adapter and the handle assembly each comprise a connector assembly, the connector assembly comprising: a housing comprising an opening; a collet sleeve disposed within the opening and connected to an input shaft, the collet sleeve comprising a lumen for receiving an output shaft; a locking element movable relative to the collet sleeve between (i) a locked position in which the output shaft is secured to the collet sleeve, and (ii) an unlocked position in which the output shaft is not secured to the collet sleeve; and a cam element movable relative to the collet sleeve between (i) a first position in which the locking element is free to assume its unlocked position, and (ii) a second position in which the cam element cams the locking element into the locked position; such that movement of the locking collar causes the cam element to move between the first position and the second position.
