摘要: A method of hermetically sealing an electrical feedthrough (5) in a semiconductor-on-insulator device comprising the steps of producing an electrically insulating layer (2) on a semiconductive material (1) having a first surface area, producing one or more electrodes (4) on a non-conductive substrate (3) of a second surface area which may be greater than the first surface area, with each electrode having an electrical feedthrough (5) associated therewith, placing the semiconductive layer on the substrate with the insulating layer in contact with the substrate and such that each electrical feedthrough extends beyond the edge of the semiconductive layer, and bonding the semiconductive layer to the substrate to provide an hermetic seal around the feedthrough and thus protect the integrity of the electrode associated therewith and disposed between the semiconductive layer and the substrate.

摘要: The urine containment device is an item of underclothing. The urine containment device is worn by a man. The urine containment device is designed to receive and store urine seepage from the man. The urine containment device is formed with a right pocket and a left pocket. The right and right pockets: 1) contain an absorbent pad; and, 2) are each formed with an opening such that the penis of the man may be privately inserted into the selected pocket such that the absorbent pad will absorb any urine seepage that may be generated. The urine containment device comprises a posterior panel, a right panel, a left panel, a pocket panel, a waist band, and a plurality of seams. The posterior panel, the right panel, the left panel, the pocket panel, the waist band are assembled to form the urine containment device using the plurality of seams.

摘要: A timer assembly includes a knob operationally coupled to a stove. A shaft is operationally coupled to the knob. The shaft selectively engages a valve on the stove. The knob is retained on the stove. The shaft opens the valve when the knob is rotated to an on position. The shaft closes the valve when the knob is rotated to an off position. A timer is operationally coupled to the shaft. The timer urges the knob to the on position for a selected duration of time. A spring biasing member is operationally coupled to the housing. A strip is coupled between the shaft and the spring biasing member. The spring biasing member urges the knob to the off position. The spring biasing member moves the knob to the off position after the timer ceases urging the knob to the on position.
