    Abstract: This application provides an uplink information transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: determining a value of a power control parameter in a value set of the power control parameter, where any value set of the power control parameter includes at least two values; sending indication information to a terminal device, where the indication information is used to indicate the value of the power control parameter; and receiving uplink information, where the uplink information is from the terminal device at a transmit power adjusted based on the value of the power control parameter.

    Abstract: This application provides a data transmission method and apparatus. A terminal device sends first data to a network device in the nth time unit, where n is an integer greater than or equal to 0. The terminal device send second data to the network device when the terminal device does not receive the response message corresponding to the first data before the (n+k)th time unit, wherein the second data is new data which is different from the first data, where k is a positive integer. According to the data transmission method provided in some embodiments of this application, the terminal device may flexibly determine the transmission mode of the second data based on an actual situation, so as to reduce a transmission delay of uplink data and improve transmission reliability of the uplink data.

    Abstract: This application provides a link failure detection method. A terminal device measures quality of radio links corresponding to reference signals in a set. When any one of the radio links is of poor quality, and not all of the radio links are of poor quality, the terminal device notifies a network device of the radio link of poor quality. After determining the radio link of poor quality, the network device does not send and/or receive communication data between the network device and the terminal device on the radio link of poor quality, or does not send and/or receive, on the radio link of poor quality, communication data that does not satisfy a service requirement.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a downlink control channel monitoring method and apparatus. A terminal device sends N groups of blind monitoring capability parameters to a network device. The monitoring capability parameters include: a reference value of an interval between monitoring spans, a reference value of duration of a monitoring span, and a reference value of a monitoring capability in the monitoring span. The terminal device determines K monitoring spans in a slot based on the N groups of monitoring capability parameters, and allocates a monitoring capability of the terminal device to the K monitoring spans based on the N groups of monitoring capability parameters. The terminal device may further perform blind detection on a downlink control channel in the K monitoring spans based on monitoring capabilities in the K monitoring spans.
