摘要: A heat dissipation device includes a first heat sink (10) mounted on one side of a video graphics adapter (VGA) card (70) on which a heat generating componnent is mounted to dissipate heat generated by the heat generating componnent, a second heat sink (10′) mounted on an opposite side of the card, a pair of heat pipes (40) independent from and intercrossed with each other and connected between the first and second heat sinks for transferring heat from the first heat sink to the second heat sink, a pair of covers (26) attached on the respective first and second heat sinks to form enclosed channels (15) between the covers and the first and second heat sinks respectively, a pair of fans (22) mounted between the covers and the first and second heat sinks for producing airflow through the channels to improve heat dissipation efficiency of the heat dissipation device.

摘要: A heat dissipation device includes a mounting plate (21) for mounting the heat dissipation device to a circuit board (3) on which a CPU (4) and a plurality of capacitors (31) are mounted, a heat sink (20), a core (25), and a fan (1) mounted on the heat sink. The heat sink locates above the mounting plate and includes a hollow cylinder (202) and a plurality of curved fins (204) extending outwardly from the cylinder. The core includes a base (26) for contacting the CPU and a post (27) extending from the base through the mounting plate to be received in the cylinder. The mounting plate is spaced from the circuit board to allow the capacitors to locate between the mounting plate and the circuit board. The mounting plate defines a plurality of openings (23) for providing access for cooled air from the fan to the CPU and the capacitors.

摘要: A heat dissipating device incorporating heat pipes includes a heat sink (10), a first heat pipe (50) and a second heat pipe (70). The heat sink has a first base (11), a second base (21) and a plurality of fins sandwiched between the first and second bases. Each of the heat pipes has a heat-absorption end (51, 71) and a heat-dissipation end (52, 72). The heat-absorption ends of the first and second heat pipes contact the first base of the heat sink. The heat-dissipation end of the first heat pipe is inserted in the substantial middle portion of the fins, and the heat-dissipation end of the second heat pipe is inserted between the second base and the fins.

摘要: A liquid cooling system includes a tank (10) for thermally contacting a heat source (100), a cylindrical heat dissipating unit (20) mounted on the tank, and a pump (30) located within the cylindrical heat dissipating unit. The tank defines a cavity therein for containing liquid coolant for heat exchange, and an inlet (122) in communication with the cavity. The heat dissipating unit defines a chamber therein in flow communication with the cavity, and an outlet (275) in communication with the chamber. The pump has an entrance (31) in flow communication with the outlet, and an exit (32) in flow communication with the inlet, thereby the tank, the heat dissipating unit, and the pump together forming a loop for circulation the of liquid coolant.

摘要: A heat sink (1) includes a heat-conductive base (20), and a plurality of combined fins (10) uprightly attached onto the base. Each fin includes a main body (12), and a flange (14) extending perpendicularly from the main body. A pair of locking plates (16) is bent downwardly from an upper edge of the main body. A pair of blocking tabs (18) is stamped from the main body, corresponding to a middle portion of each locking plate. A receiving space is defined between said pair of blocking tabs and the main body. The locking plates and the blocking tabs are respectively located at opposite main faces of the main body. The locking plates of each fin are inserted in the receiving spaces of an adjacent fin, whereby the fins are firmly combined together.

摘要: A liquid cooling system includes a cooling unit (100) and a coolant driving unit (200). The cooling unit includes a first cooling body (110) defining a first cavity, a second cooling body (130) defining a second cavity in communication with the first cooling body (110), and a heat sink (150) sandwiched between the first and second cooling bodies. The coolant driving unit is in flow communication with the first and second cooling bodies respectively, so that the first and second cooling bodies and the coolant driving unit together form a loop. Circulation of the coolant in the loop causes the heat generated by the heat generating component to be capable of being transferred from the first and second cooling bodies to the heat sink for dissipation.

摘要: A heat dissipation device (10) includes a base (12) and a plurality of fins (14). Each fin includes a heat dissipating post (14) and a heat conducting tab (18). Each heat dissipating post is made by rolling up a metallic slice and thereby defines a through hole therein. Each heat conducting tab includes an engaging part (18a) attached on the base and a medial part (18b) extending from the corresponding heat dissipating post. The medial parts thermally connect the engaging parts and the heat dissipating posts, and mechanically separate the engaging parts from the heat dissipating posts; thereby the through holes are allowed to be exposed at opposite ends of the heat dissipating posts.

The operating lever is pivotally engaged with each of the first and second pivot portions. The operating lever includes a pair of parallel pivot plates (44), each forming a protrusion (446) on an internal face thereof. In use of the fastener, the fastener is unlocked when the protrusions and the clamping beam are disposed at a same side of the first pivot portion. The fastener is locked when the protrusions and the clamping beam are disposed at opposite sides of the first pivot portion.

摘要: A heat sink assembly includes a heat sink (20), a clip (40), and a spring clamp (60). The heat sink includes a base (21), pin fins (23), and slots (25, 27) defined between respective adjacent rows of the pins in perpendicular crisscross fashion. The clip made from a flexible metal wire includes a central body (41) with a raised portion (43), and two arms (45) extending perpendicularly but in different directions from opposite ends of the body. A hook (47) is formed at a free end of each arm. The spring clamp includes an elongate central pressing portion (61). A longitudinal opening (63) defined in the pressing portion engagingly receives the raised portion. Two pairs of elastically deformable wings (65) extend from respective opposite sides of the pressing portion. The clamp is resiliently retained in corresponding slots of the heat sink, and thus secures the clip to the heat sink.
