Abstract: A network entity is configured to control a handover of a user equipment from a serving base station to a candidate target base station of a mobile communication network. The serving base station provides at least a first slice of a first slice type, and the candidate target base station provides at least a second slice of a second slice type. The user equipment is registered to the first slice of the serving base station. The network entity includes a processor configured to control, in response to a handover trigger, the handover of the user equipment on the basis of a requested slice type and the second slice type provided by the candidate target base station.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to an operator management system in a first administrative domain for supporting a user roaming from the first administrative domain to a second administrative domain within a network architecture. The network architecture comprises a collection of interconnected network functions deployed in a control plane and a user plane, and the interconnected NFs comprise at least core network control plane functions and a core network user plane function. The OMS in the first administrative domain is configured to generate and issue to an OMS in the second administrative domain, a roaming management request for roaming a user from the first administrative domain to the second administrative domain, over an inter-operator management interface, and configured to instruct the OMS in the second administrative domain to configure the second administrative domain based on the roaming management request to support the user roaming.

Abstract: In a mobile communication system being configured to comprise network slice instances and network subnet slice instances, a network entity performs identifier mapping in connection with services provided. In the identifier mapping operation, the network device receives a first identifier of a first network service. It then generates a second identifier of a second network service, and maps the second identifier to the first identifier. One of the first identifier and the second identifier is a network slice instance ID (NSI-ID).
